Jane Fonda to play Nancy Reagan in new movie!

I once got to give Jane my thoughts on her, albeit silently. We were at a Braves game and were on the same aisle as Ted and Jane (although much higher up in rows)in old Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. Jane came up the aisle shaking hands and smiling. Guess she was heading to the bathroom. She looked me dead in the eye and acted like she was going to offer her hand so I crossed my arms and turned my back on her. I'm sure I wasn't the first or last to do that and I'm sure she was used to it. But it did give me a warm fuzzy feeling inside.:D

I'm REALLY not Fonda "Hanoi Jane".:mad::mad:
Hope being a Traitor to your Country is Criminal and not political.

Vietnam 70-71.

I hate to deprive folks of an opportunity to bash Janey.

If that's the case then I'll say I sure miss the bumper sticker I had on the back bumper of my old 1965 Chevy pick-up from about 1976 until 1980, or thereabouts.

It said, "Boycott Jane Fonda, American Traitor Beech"
Actually "Beech" was spelled like "female dog."

i wish i still had some of those Hanoi Jane urinal targets. that just ain't right. lee

Be my guest.

As a veteran of the conflict Ms. Fonda interjected herself into, I don't to this day understand why she was not tried for treason. If half of what she did when visiting our POW's was true she should have been tried for treason and at a minimum lost her citizenship over it.

I can tell you all that I enjoyed aiming at her stickers for years at my place of employment as did many others of the same mindset.

She can truely be called a Treasonous *****!

"Ronnie" has to be rolling on this one... Another one of life's bitter ironies!

Clearly, the directors/producers aren't casting her for her acting talent,
unless one considers her film "Barbarella" to be film noir (which would be like comparing the "Mona Lisa" to a painting rendered by a chimp smearing paint on a canvas with his posterior) ..............................

I wont be watching that movie. i'd rather have my toenails ripped off than to sit through one of her movies.

I don't remember Nancy shooting an AA gun, but maybe she did, and they needed someone with experience??

That is simply perverse.
Stay off politics so we don't lock 'er down.

As far as her AA skills are concerned (we have all seen the iconic photo of her sitting in the gunner's position on a 23 mm ZSU dual mount), if her acting skills bear any relationship to her ability to shoot, I could pickle bombs all day long on Hanoi from a DeHavilund Otter (and that is one SLOW float plane with a single radial engine) without getting hit (and that's coming from an Army guy who can fly, but is nowhere near as skilled as some our USAF brethren on this forum.) We had Sunni goatherds firing SA-7's at our helos in Anbar Province that had more talent then her. And actually, considering those lonely nights out in the great western desert near the Syrian border, we had camels with long eyelashes roaming around that had more personality.
