Haa haa, that is so true... Plus they will then tell you how awsome the gun is and that they have never had a problem with them what so ever....I have had to carry glocks on the job for several years. I had a Glock 21 blow up in my hand, had a Glock 22 screw up during firing and had to replace some pins and the recoil spring, and now gen 4 Glock 22 jams and double feeds once every magazine....I FREEKING HATE THESE THINGS,.....I DO NOT KNOW WHY PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE SO GREAT.... GIVE ME A SMITH,SIG OR BERETTA ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.....I WOULD RATHER HAVE A JENNINGS ARMS OVER A FREEKING GLOCK....LOL

Did I mention Glock...sorry for the rant, I just do not like them....

I will gladly trade you a "Jennings" for a "Glock".

Yeah, I have seen all the Glock stuff. All the Team Glock Ts, etc.

Glocks are great! Just not for me. Just don't feel right in my hand. I just don't shoot them well. Many do.

Give me a 1911 type anything, I can use it. The Sig's, Browning's, or Baretta's, I also like. I shoot them all better than the Glock.

That said the Glock 17 was a ground breaker in capasity, and reliability. Also being lite weigth with ploymer fame. I remember guys saying who would buy a plastic gun???
This was back in the day when a M16 was called a Mattel.

Have only 1 Glock, a 19. Works fantastic for me for quite some time, so I completely trust it. Thats fine if people poke fun at them, I like a good laugh too. Yes they are ugly, but it's one of the few guns I carry and don't get fussy over if it gets knocked around some.

its a killing machine. it was meant to deal death. and deal it well. and in that aspect of being a nasty tool to kill with. its the king of its castle. no other firearm is as simple. as plain, reliable and trusted by as many as the glock. it serves its purpose perfectly. its not meant to be pretty, user friendly, ergonomic, decorative, collectible. its meant to shoot. and shoot every time in any condition.

it may not be my favorite gun. but i do respect it for what it is. a fine tuned death bringing pistol.

I think your comments are meant well ..... but they come across as some kind of "anti-gun" rant that you would hear Sarah Brady screeching at the top of her lungs!!! Personally I would tone it done a bit!

Noticed that too.....lot's of quality guns out there, nothing wrong with liking something in addition to S&W's IMO...Glocks and Kimbers included.

I've shot a few Glocks. Never cared for 'em, don't own one and never will.
Some years back, I witnessed a 9mm Glock kaBOOM! at the local range with factory ammo. It appears that it fired out of battery.
It was suggested that I report this to a certian gun writer who was reseaching the ka Boom phenomenon at the time. I did and he in return called me a liar. He said 9mms don't do that! Yet I did see it happen.

I don't care for the gun, but don't really have anything against it. However, Glock owners who have drunk the "perfection" kool-aid irritate the hell outta me. I wish they would just shut up!

We had a Glock 19 here for years. A good gun. I don't believe it ever malfunctioned. We traded it off for something else, but there was nothing wrong with that Glock.

Just be sure you set the dry cycle on "low" heat....
