Have no fear, eventually the Shield will reach the same level of Nirvana as most firearms currently offered by S&W. Shown only in ads or in the hands of the S&W shooting team but unavailable to the average shooter due to limited or no production from S&W for the US civilian market.

That would be the Kel Tec PMR30. I have one of them too :D Talk about an amazing trigger ! Who woulda thought that Kel Tec could put that on a gun ??? lol

I've never once stated any opinion on how the gun holds, points, shoots, etc, cause your right I've never fondled one.. OMG you shield owners are tempermental, ALL I've said is the forum is flooded with shield stuff, which I guess is good for the forum in general, but alittle annoying. I'm just saying, you guys can unwad your panties now.....I NOT HATING...lord

We are not temperamental at all. Just wondering why all the Shield hate/anti opinions when you haven't held one, and we have. Time to be a bit more open minded .. huh ;) ??

I thought I put my opinions to those in where you quoted me quite nicely. Maybe you are being too touchy ? ;)

I am nice, I'm not bashing a shield, I am open minded.
When someone owns, say a 9c, buys a shield and says its pretty much a slimmer 9c, with alittle better trigger, I respect that, cause I own a 9c. I am s&w through and through, so I'm sure I would like the shield. It won't fit the bill for what I want personally in a carry piece, but I'm sure its a fine gun, as all Smiths are...
ALL I was cracking about was how the forum has been infected by it..that's all
 
LOL ok I should be clear those were not my photos (Wow do I really look like a chick on my avatar?) and the one of the tat particular was linked from some AR15.com post. I simply Googled "M&P Shield" images and posted the first four that were not gun next to a gun.
 
Well with a name like EvilBetty, then a picture of a gal with a tat and a Shield, I guess some guys just put two and two together and came up with four.

You did get five likes from the post.... I wonder if those guys will 'unlike' the post now. :eek:

I still want someone with a Shield and access to a tank to take comparison pictures... I don't have a Shield yet or I would do it.. Hmmmm maybe Google?

We are good :cool: I think it has so much to do with the surprise just how well it turned out compared to the other slim 9s
 
Can you please tell me where you ordered the Mag's from? I'm looking all over the web for a site where i can purchase 2 more of the extended mag for the M&P SHIELD and haven't found them yet
 
CALL S&W. They took them off the website and they are on backorder. Call their 800 #, though. You can order them on the phone for $37.50 each. They will ship in 2 weeks, is what I was told.
 
My name is dts and I am a Shieldaholic ! LOL! I agree with the OP about all the Shield excitement. However, I also pocket carry and I wasn't hurt at all that the Shield took that pocket away from my PM-9.
