My OWB and Mag holder from RKBA arrived today - I am super pleased with the workmanship and fit, this is a very nice holster.

I thought so too, so I ordered a 4art with sweat shield and laser option. I read on another board that laser option was needed for larger trigger guard of the Shield.A Remora for in waistband carry would be my obvious choice
I will be building both kydex and leather holsters for the Shield.
Love mine and already have orders for holsters.

Do you wear the mag carrier on the left side? Bullets should be forward?
Not everyone trains with the bullets facing forward.
ETA: It can also be reversed to run bullets forward.

Anybody have the Blackhawk 421603bn R or L thats pictured on the S&W acc. shield page? Like it and saw it at a Gander Mnt. store. Only had the right and want the Left version. Feedback good or bad is appreciated. Also they list the 421603 to fit the M&P shield and Glock 26&27's. But also list the 421601 as a Glock 26&27 sizing. Whats the difference between the two models? Thanks
You are welcome.Just recieved my RCS Phantom yesterday and couldn't be happier! The quick ship option is very nice as well! Thanks for the heads up Kris in your HD NS thread!!!
That turned out quite nice. Is there any way to adjust the retention level? It looks like all the screws are the same.Well I got my kit in from Old Faithful Holsters sooner than I thought.. Came in the mail on Sat., so last night I started playing around w/ it.. I went to Home Depot an bought a 2'x4' piece of 1/2" thick MDF ($7), used an old foam square I found in the shed that was leftover from some other project. Made the cut out piece for the center of the mold/press like it said in the website's tutorial, and created the foam/MDF "sandwich" style mold/press as described. I just used some 45lb. plates from the wieght bench instead of clamps, 4 of them seem to do the trick. A drill, a hammer my dremel tool an about 2 hrs of my time later I came up w/ this.. I had fun doing it, an felt a sense of accomplishment afterwardsFor my 1st attempt at making my own holster, the kit made it fairly easy.. Overall, for the price an the time invested I'm pleased..
Yes, the kit comes w/ some pieces of what look to be 3/16 automotive vacuum hose, which your supposed to cut into thin sections creating like a "bushing" so you can tighten or loosen the 4 Allen head screws to set the retention. This is the 1st holster I've had like this, so it would be hard for me to make an accurate comparison to the other high dollar holsters out there. But I can tell you, I wore this thing all day today (7:30am-6pm) and there was times I forgot I had it on.. I wore it in the 5 o'clock position and by the end of the day I didn't have any noticeable irritation.. And I'm a manager/tech at local independent shop, in which I'm all over the place sitting, standing and walking around inside and outside in the shop.... *I don't really need to carry all day, was just testing the holster out* But from what I've read about the high dollar holsters (reviews/forums) I'm pretty happy w/ my lil "kit holster" especially for what I have into it, it's comfortable and offers quick presentation and 1 handed reholstering.. $32 shipped + $7 for the MDF I bought to make the mold/press + the satisfaction of doing it myself = priceless..That turned out quite nice. Received my PJ Holster and mag carrier yesterday and I love them. I was apprehensive about a single clip IWB holster because I use two-clip Crossbreed and a Comp-tac Minotaur holsters for my other firearms. This holster is small, thin, fits the Shield like a glove and stays in place just fine. I couldn't be happier. The price was right and the service was fast.
