Hello,
Can anyone give me info. on this pistol ? Chambered in 9mm.
Has 2 high cap mags. In LNIB condition. Looking for the history and value.
Any help would be welcome.
Thank you,

The 915 was a transitional model between the 3rd Gen pistols and the Value Line.

Still had all metal parts, barrel lug, but no Novak sights. Very nice shooting pistol and very accurate.

I bought mine in about 95% condition a few years ago for $375 with box and two magazines.

You will love it. It is one of the most underrated 3rd Gens out there. It and the 411 are real 3rd Gens less a few bells and whistles. Later Value Lines went beyond "bells and whistles" to plastic parts and a change in barrel and slide design. From what I see on this forum, I don't think this performance on the part of the 915 is unusual.

Thank you Dave,
That was a big help. :)

Here is a 915 alongside a 910, which was the model that replaced it just a year or two later. Note the physical differences in the slide and frame contours, and the lugless barrel. Despite this the 910 is every bit as good a shooter as the 915, although there are plastic parts like the guide rod, sights, and magazine catch. Also, the 910 came with a 10-round post-AWB magazine, although full caps will work just fine.

GREAT guns. I just took one home the other day. When I got it home, I sat down with a cup of coffee and started to work on it. A thorough cleaning and some cannibalization of some other 3rd Gen parts netted this.

Today, she was sent off to the factory for the 'Decock-Only' modification and the loaded chamber witness hole.

Unlike the 910/909/908, she has NO plastic parts whatsoever and uses the single lug lock-up design. They are in effect a newer model 459.

They have much to recommend them.
