I have the TFO's on 4 of my Glocks with no problems & love them. I can't comment on the Ameriglo's though as I've never owned any.

I was reading that some people apply silicon caulking to protect TFO sights. Are they the same dimensions as stock. Since my compact is so accurate with the stock sights, I just wanted to make sure that nothing is changed.

Before you try to buy anything from Botach, do yourself a favor and Google them and see what their customers have to say.
Never tried the truglos but ameriglos have given good service.

Every time I ordered from botach.com, I have had a good experience. I did check out reviews from Google and found that the good outweighs the bad. I did see some reviews in regards to selling posted in stock items that were actually on back order. I know of several e-stores that are guilty of this, I think I've been lucky so far.

TruGlo TFO came on my SIG P226 Blackwater Tactical. So far so good. I like them a lot. If I get the M&P .40 I will probably use them. Also thinking about the VTAC Viking sights, but they are pretty pricey at $240:

BTW...those that have the fibre optic fall off now use some form of clear epoxy to hold the fibre optic in place.
