Freedom Munitions

I have ten Stoner 10-rnd mags that I load up before heading to the range. I also fill up ten stripper clips so that the first reload at the range doesn't take up much time.
With all the magazines that I have I cant get the wife to come on board with me getting 10 round Mags. But it would sure slow down my ammo usage by other family members LOL.

The nephews and younger cousins just love to make her hot!!!

You want to slow your rate of fire? Just add a bullet button to your AR. hahaha

Thanks for the tip on Freedom Munitions. Being a newbi, I hadn't heard of them. Recently got 250rds for the M&P 40 from Natchez, but I'll give FM a call when I order for the Sport.

As above I ordered 500 Blaster in 223 late Tuesday night. Got an e-mail Wednesday morning that it was shipped. Later yesterday when the UPS tracking number showed up in their system, it says it will be here next Wednesday (due to the 3 day holiday weekend). I think that is awesome service. I will report in again after I shoot some on the weekend after they arrive.

Freedom Munitions is going to love me in the last week I have ordered:
450 rds 223
200 rds 308
50 rds 45lc
100 rds 45acp
100 rds 9mm

Just starting to feel like I might be starting to have enough ammo LOL but you can never have too many bullets!!!!
I guess this is better than AR parts off of eBay LOL

I received an order of 200 blaster .223 today. Half were 55gr fmj and half were 62gr penetrator .223. Because they come loose packed I was moving them from the loose packed boxes and into the plastic 50 round storage boxes. To cut to the chase I received 100 of the 55gr but I only received 98 of the 62gr. I know its only 2 bullets but I felt the need to bring it to their attention. I just emailed them and am waiting on a response and will let you all know what they say.:(

I received an email that said "will do". I had two orders ship yesterday from them and I was looking at them today and the shipping weight is quite a bit higher than I expected so I believe rtquig might be absolutely correct.

I promised I would make one last reply when I shot some of the 223 "Blaster Training Rounds" that I ordered. They showed up as UPS stated on Wed. (hard to believe UPS does not even ring our door bell now-just leaves the package and runs). Got out to shoot them today. They fire just fine, recoil feels like factory ammo (I don't own a chrono). They all went bang and feed fine. I was shooting my hanging gong, so can't say about their accuracy other than I hit the gong every time. Of course now I will be saving the brass to reload on my own. I see no reason to buy their regular reloads instead of the Blaster (supposedly only cosmetic differences). So, I am pleased in all ways about this company and will continue to order from them.

Last week I finally got my ammo order in after waiting a bit.( 5.56 at.30 /per round 800 rds.) My LGS owner said its taking longer to get ammo in my neck of the woods. He's right! All the other suppliers in the area state the same thing. Some are blaming that Obama going to take their guns away  and some blame the 2012ers are stock pileing. Who knows???? I did order another 400 rds. I don't like tapping in to my reserve stash.

Well its time to restock on ammo so I ordered 1000 rounds of the 5.56 reloads from freedom at .35 a round after shipping was added in, still a whole lot cheaper then I can get from here :D

I have ordered both their regular reloads and their blaster. The blaster cosmetically in my case was better. If I can get the blaster in what I am wanting that is what I get. The only caliber I havent been able to get the Blaster in is 45Colt or long colt they call it, and I am seriously restricted on reloads in that caliber also but they still save me $20 a box of 50.

After reading all the posts, I ordered 1000 rounds of 5.56 M193. Look forward to giving them a try! In the comment line I put that I heard about them here too.

I will say, I have quite a few mags that I use, even for target shooting. Loading up mag after mag can get time consuming, especially if you are shooting with a group of any size.
I gotta say, find yourself some stripper clips, and load the hell out of them. It makes reloading a quick, easy affair. I usually get them on ARFCOM. I will buy between 200-500 and get a couple spoons with the lot.
It sounds like a sheite ton, but really, you wind up giving a buddy 20-30, you wind up finding that about 3 reloadings is all they really care for. I will throw them away if they bust a tab, or drag, or get loose.
The guys who sell them tend to get them on base, where they run thru 10,000-100,000 rounds a week in training. Cheap, maybe $25 for 150-250 strippers and a couple clips.

I may be the odd man out here but how are these good prices on reloads when I can get new ammo for about the same price? If there is shipping at all then the prices are higher than what I usually pay for my 9mm and 5.56 ammo. my usual 9mm ammo is 10 bucks and some change with free shipping on palmetto state armory right now, and my 5.56/223ammo is around the same price as theirs. I mean, dont get me wrong the pricing isnt bad its just not a spectacular deal or anything.

Ouch, shipping is 22 dollars here as well.

What kind of ammo are you buying if I may ask. I can get Ram Ammo for for $20 bucks for 50 locally, I dont buy steel cased anymore because I reload all my own. I pay $30 bucks for 100 .223 55gr, I pay $47 locally for 45lc where with freedom I pay $26. I pay $20 for 40 .308's and I pay $28 for 100 45acp. I live in the middle of nowhere Kansas and there are no large Stores within 2 1/2 hours to go buy inexpensive ammo so even with the shipping which I make large orders of mixed rounds my highest shipping has been $17. I pay a heck of a lot more for the gasoline to go to Wichita to buy ammo and still pay more than Freedom's cost to get it with sales taxes so it works for me. It wont work for everyone but for those of us in the real "sticks" it does. Plus I have all winter to reload all my brass.
As you can see I have almost everybrand of domestic ammo and will use them but when I can buy some of the harder to get ammo way cheaper than I can locally I am going to do it. My only gripe is most of what I buy from Freedom is bulk packed and I like mine in the plastic boxes, I used to have enough for my reloads but then I needed more for when I reload. LOL

Well my order for 1800 rounds of stripper clipped XM193 from sportsmansguide.com has had its backorder date pushed back into December. If it weren't for the fact that I'm (eventually) getting it for 30¢ a round I'd cancel the order and buy from Freedom. :)
