I know - it's been hard not to shoot that baby, but it is my birthyear gun and I want to preserve it - at least for now. The bluing is incredible and the grips are perfect.
Maybe if I live to be 100 or something, I'll shoot it before I pass it along to my son.
If you're never planning to shoot it - sell it to a collector and get something you will shoot!
I shoot them all, that's why I'd never buy a LNIB revolver - if given one I'd take it to the range immediately and shoot it!
Seriously - I've seen some fairly unimpressive Smith and Wesson revolvers at local gunshows for steep prices. Seems like you ought to be able to get $500 for it - then go buy that Glock. You'll be happy and the collector who buys it will be happy too.
