Who has "strayed" the furthest?

I know we have a wonderful picture thread at the top. There is also a great thread about latest purchases. What I am wondering is how far have members of this forum "strayed" from the "as delivered" format of their AR's. We all know that I am a little over the edge on my Sport, but who else has let the EBR disease warp their way of thinking and ended up with a rifle which is barely if at all recognizable as the rifle which was delivered to them. Other than the buttstock and a little bit of the rollmark mine is not recognizable as what it was, I just wondered who else has been this radical? LOL Come on you crazies time to show and tell!!!

Ain't gonna happen! Anyone that has done more mods than you have to your Sport started with a stripped upper and stripped lower!

Just a Red Dot. I did duct tape 30 round two mags together. This is my "out the door with way more intimidating firepower than I could ever possibly need" setup. 50 rounds of .223 JHP's should be enough to discourage the n'er-do-wells!

Changed out the handguard on mine, added a red dot sight and laser (the laser was purely for grins ), and replaced the charging handle with one that my paws could more easily grab.

I built mine from aquired parts. I reckon the uppers and FCGs & lowers are pretty much all regular OEM parts. They ain't really anything like store-bought.
My kid did one but used a built A3M4 upper. And the usual trick conviences.
None of 'em have added weight. Just our feeble attempts at improving
overall ballistic efficiency.
So i guess we don't own any stock guns.

New upper (300BLK from AAC) ~$1100. (again, impulse)
Aimpoint red dot ~$500
Aimpoint spacer $35 (to cowitness magpuls)
VFG, tac latch, sling, and other assorted trash ~$100
15 pMags for caliber discrimination ~165.
Eotech for other AR to replace Aimpoint $500. (Target of opportunity)

$3000 later(not counting primed brass, OTM bullets, and more powder), I'm GTG.

Very Cool enframe.... I think the fact that 179 views of this post have taken place and only 17 votes in the poll says something, I just dont know what...But I am not the only one to push the envelope LOL. Although it is still early in the poll, it appears that most people just change a little followed by the people who go all out, cant wait to see in a day or two when people who cant get online due to jobs and such get to place their votes.

I am kinda surprised by the way the numbers are working out, but as I reflect I should have expected these, although I feel better knowing there are more serious addicts out there....LOL
