FYI, this is a good, healthy conversation. It gets into a very hard subject in which there is diverse opinion, many coming from different views of the same side.
How many times does this administration need to say that they want to ban more guns before people believe them?
Other than a couple edited videos, you have brought no proof to the table. On the contrary, you seem to be evading the issue of proof.
2:15 Trafficking illegal guns and sending them over the border is illegal"................YES, unless my right hand man does it.![]()

Hear ya go. The President being asked point blank if he's going to keep his promise to reinstate the AWB. He responds first by saying (paraphrasing) he has not backed off at all and believes the AWB makes sense... then goes on to say that reinstating the ban isn't easy but he's not steering away from it. // Sounds like a committed gun-grabber to me.
Now if some folks wish to pin a badge of No-Gun-Ban trust on this administration because they haven't found the right opportunity to rally their gun-grabbing pals in Congress, yet, ok. Meanwhile, the NRA and other thoughtful opposition will continue to make it difficult for gun-grabbers to fulfill their stated agenda.
ps. The missing video footage of the President saying he really didn't mean it and he's just kidding is locked away in an NRA vault.

If anyone thinks MITT will save the day, you are sadly mistaken...and George Bush said "put it on my desk and I will sign it" about an assault weapons ban....
This clown in there now is no different.
Thank goodness we never have cops execute stings or set up elaborate multi state, multi year investigations where illegal things are done under color of the investigation in order to improve the outcome.2:15 Trafficking illegal guns and sending them over the border is illegal"................YES, unless my right hand man does it.![]()

Now to deeds. At no point has any of this administration [or the Democratic members of Congress] done a single thing to execute the AWB or gun control. Will they? Evidence has shown NO. What evidence? From 2009-2012 we have seen Giffords and Fast and Furious and high profile mass shootings from Alabama to California to Carthage, North Carolina to Binghamton, NY to Manchester, CT to Ft Hood. All of these gave politicos ammunition to start swaying the public opinion if they had wanted to try. But they did not. ZERO.Now if some folks wish to pin a badge of No-Gun-Ban trust on this administration because they haven't found the right opportunity to rally their gun-grabbing pals in Congress, yet, ok. But it's great we can look at Fast and Furious as the only one that failed in judicial history.
Show me a video where questions are asked in english, not dubbed over.

Thank you. You just made my point. There have not been any activities to change gun rights because there is no political payback for Congresscritters. A majority of Conservatives and a good many Liberals are on the side of gun rights and elected officials know it.They have not because they saw what happened after they did it during the Clinton administration. Ask Tom Foley about it. They know that the wrath of the NRA will come down on them like a load of logs if they try it again. That is why people like me continue to be supporters of the e-vile gun lobby, and why we continue to support NRA-ILA, why we continue to send letters and emails to our congressmen.
The current administration hasn't called for anti-gun legislation because of the fear of the NRA. That is why the 130 congressmen sent the letter. That is why the Treaty under consideration now doesn't have the chance of a snowball in Moultrie, Georgia on the 4th of July of passing.
I guess we are just knuckle-draggers, clinging to our guns and our religion.
I'm proud to be a certified knuckle-dragger.
I hope any members reading this thread who are not NRA members and supporters will get with the program and join now.
