Shotgun shell shot glasses

BBQ in my building last week...hard to believe but I'm not the only gun owner in it...host broke out these shot glasses...I must find out where he got them!

Trader Vic's restaurant in Denver used to serve a rum punch in what looked like big Remington green shotgun shell glasses, high brass. The "brass" was real gold plating, I gather, and they sold in the gift shop there.

I did some research on them years ago, and they were made by a company in, i think, West VA., which also made china and glassware for the JFK White House. But they were out of business, and I never found another source.

Those "shells" were ribbed like the real thing.

For what it's worth, Avon also used to sell cologne in what looked like big red or yellow shotgun shells. (Both colors.) If Avon is still around, they may still have them.

That's good to know. However, they'd prolly leave a bitter taste in your mouth.
