I have a Model 637-2 that was a gift. It has uncle Mikes grips on it currently and I would like to get the correct grips for it.
Serial number CHJ5XXX.
Thanks!

i think those are the grips it came with,if you want to go to wood grips, look for smith j-frame round butt grips,or after market j-frame grips, there are many.

Thanks sqhead, but did S&W actually sell guns with uncle mikes grips? Really?
Hmm...so these weren't after-market after all!
Thanks again!

yes, they have been useing uncle mikes on many guns, you will like them when you shoot it but no so much for looks.

OK Just bought some Sile combat-type rubber grips...will give me a little more to hang on to lol
Thanks for your help!

These are the UM Boot grips suppled by S&W. They were a licensed rubber version of the Craig Spiegel Boot grip and are my personal favorite for shooting a RB J frame.

Yes Chad, those are the ones on my gun as well. Too short for me though...so will try the Sile grips.

As for rubber grips and for all-around shooting, carrying, concealing, durability... they're my fav to.
If you're thinking of selling them, PM me.
