Just got some new info and no longer sure of MFG date.
S/N N432XXX 5" pinned and recessed blue. What hammer and trigger should it have. Thanks

That serial number dates to 1977-78

Well according to SCSW the 5" was discontinued in 1975 so what gives?

Most likely it shipped with a target hammer, target trigger, target stocks, with a wood presentation case. They began shipping them so configured in 1975. Before 1975, they came with standard hammer and trigger, plain black sights, Magna stocks in a cardboard box, unless special ordered. If yours has a red ramp sight, it probably shipped with full target configuration.

It did come with target hammer, trigger, all tools and papers, black front ramp and nice dovetailed presentation case, better quality than my 1976 Dirty Harry case.
