Are M&P 15 Sports available? If so, where would be the best deal going at this time?

Personally a local Gun shop:D

Online you may save some $$$, but there is shipping delays, has to sent to LGS and they usually charge a fee... etc etc etc

Find one Locally... buy It, In Arizona its only maybe 25minutes from i want it... to at checkout Line:D

Anyways my personal opinion:)
 
Kinda depends on were you live. If you're near a Sportsman's Warehouse that would be a good place to look. Or shopping the LGSs.
 
Agree with the above suggestions. I had a LGS order mine. Even with state tax, etc. it was still cheaper than buying it on line and paying for shipping. I did shop a few different stores and went with the least expensive. No regrets either!
 
I seen 4 this past weekend at a local gun show in Texas and they were priced no less than $750. When I bought mine back in May I paid $638 shipped.

I got my NIB Sport thru GunBrokers last May. Shipped to a local FFL & no problems. About $600+S&H. Only wish it would've stopped there. It's the add ons that cost!:D

wow someone is looking to keep his profit margin up!!!LOL. I paid $605 in January.
 
If availability is still like it was when I got mine, the best place to get one is the place you find with one in stock. If you have an Academy near you, they get them in and they were $650.
 
I haven't actually heard of anyone able to find one other than the CA compliant version for several months.

Have you?

Did they discontinue them?

Are you serious? Why would you think that the Sport is discontinued? The post right above yours showed you a site that had them in stock (may not now). And yes, I have seen several new owners on several forums recently.

Your best bet would be to work with a local store that either has regular stock coming in or is willing to locate and order one for you.

I ccalled 6-7 LGS to find one..

Then walked into cabela's and BAM!!! one on the shelf...

Call around youll find one
 
the one this for sure is the Sport is not discontinued, the Sport is the gun the really put S&W in the AR game. First you buy a Sport and then its the gateway drug, as many of us have found out. Just look at the pictures in the forum.
 
I got 1 abouy a month ago from BudsGunshop.comfor $579 then had it shipped to local FFL and paid $25 transfer took about a week.

I just got off the phone with them. Last price sold was $669.00

I have never seen anyone sell one for $579. $614 is drop dead lowest price I've ever seen.

oh..just noticed that was your very first post...that essplains it.
 
The lack of availability has me looking at other AR's

I kinda like Magpul Folding MBUS and A2 front sight, especially since I can add a red dot and co witness.

But I looked at a Stag and Armarlite and also an M&P 15 OR.

I guess if I go another two months and can't find one I'll settle on something a bit less. (lol)

Don't really want a Bushmaster for some reason.
