Whats your go to on-line ammo source?

Truth be told, there is no ONE STOP SHOP, IMHO! Some places have better deals on one particular ammo than others. Sometimes the dealers with the best prices charge more for S&H. Sometimes it pays to pay a couple of bucks more and get free freight. You just have to look around and make the decision based upon exactly what you are in need of at the time.

For components, I usually fins Mid South to be the best stocked, best priced and friendliest of all. I also like the fact that if they are out of stock on an item they will back order it and honor the original price even if it as gone up in the interim. To me...... that's customer service!!

I can't remember buying from them but I might have. I do know I have never heard anything bad about them. (not that it means they are good)
Ammoman has done fine by me. Shipping is included in their prices. Quick shipping and prices are competitive. Get on their mailing list to catch the bargains as they show up.

I get Federal HST's( 9mm & .45) from Streichers Police Supply,38/357 fromAmmoToGo,but will also look for deals from other online suppliers.J&G sales is one of them.
Hard to find calibers in good loads I just search for by name, for the best prices. i havn't reloaded in years.

Thanks for the heads-up, I'll have to do that...

I'm a fan of natchezss.com

They have some nice sales once in a while.

The trick with online shopping is don't forget about the shipping. Shipping charges can change a good price into 'too much' quickly.

Do you know if the .45 auto they sell as new is small primer or large? My supply of cases are shrinking and I might as well get some cheap loaded stuff and reuse the cases but, if they are small primer I will pass. Also, I can't tell if the .38 158 HP are steel case or not.

They have a full page of different .38 Special ammo right now. Which .38 Special ammo are you asking about? There isn't much Steel case .38 Special ammo out there from what I've seen. Actually, I have never seen any. Everything in .38 Special on their site right now is using brass cases.

Just a side note, it's hard to find .38 Special WC target ammo and they have it in stock right now and it's Remington ammo. (R38S3) If you buy 1000 rounds the price is only $14.95/box. These days that's not a bad price at all especially for Remington Express Target ammo, not Remington UMC ammo. If you're looking for WC Target ammo you should jump on it while it's still available.
