Lew Horton, are you hearing this??? I would even take blued steel in a heart beat. But not right now. I'm tapped.

my 329 PD is real close to perfect .44 special and if ca-- ca hits magnum force at your speedloader

C mon smith get with the program if CA can build em so can you guys
How about a fixed sight 3" L frame (5shot) round butt dovetail front night sight with finger grove combat grips and make it in blue steel

Just put a nos 396 night guard on lay away

I been thinking of a charter arms bulldog with the 44 russian ammo for the misses to CCW carry. I'm just afraid of the feral & rabid animals when she walks the dogs. Plus we have yotes the size of a lab.

I bought a 4" M21, round butt. Hated the rb but loved the gun.

SO, S&W....

4" M21, SB, fixed sights, prefer blue but stainless is fine.

OH, yes. did I say SQUARE BUTT??????????

Lets do it

K frame, 5 shot, 4", adj sights, 44 special, all steel or SS. Every outdoorsman needs one, a lifetime user & keepsake.

A simple re-issue of the 696 or 696-1 would sell a run of 5000
in a year or 2 methinks. Maybe less. Make those guys who want
$1200 for one now think twice. I want one for less :)

Just got a 696! I agree great carry gun and wonderful for us ol' outdoorsmen who want to stay off the varmits dollar menu

I want an N-frame 4" Model 520-style fixed sight .44 Special with a tapered barrel like the 624 ! Have it be a Lew Horton with no lock.
One in blue and a second in stainless please ! :)

Jerry

Uh, isn't that a Model 21?
I want an HB, fixed site M21

I just purchased my dealers last brand new N frame in 44 special in nickel she's a M24 with a 6 1/2" barrel. He only has a new M629 classic 4" in 44mag and a M625 4" in 45lc left out of the case full of N frames he had. If these two stay there a while i may save up some more mad $$ and grab them too. But its a big maybe....

My only problem so far with the M24 with the 6 1/2" barrel is the barrel is lighter than the magnum barrels. But time will tell i haven't shot it yet.

I'll take a 624 3 inch and then I want a 610. And yes, keep those hilary holes on other guns I don't wish to purchase.

Seconded.

Also, a J-frame .44 Spl with a 2" barrel, 5 shot, fixed sight, CC gun.

Sorry, but it'll never happen. Geometry is against you. The J and K cylinders just aren't large enough to squeeze in .44 chambers. Consider the L-frames, whose cylinder diameter is just barely large enough to permit five .44 rounds. That's as small a wheel as you can use.
