Muscle Car Madness

Is that Fathom Green and Ivory Interior?

Yes, as in "I can't FATHOM how GM would paint a car this color!".

Call the interior "ivory" but it was white, white, WHITE! :D

still had the braided copper ground wires from the valve covers to the firewall

With hindsight I should've just pickled that 307 and dropped a 350 crate motor in it.

I agree about boat anchoring the 307, but I honestly find that color combo ATTRACTIVE. One of my favorite F bodies is a 1972 or 73 Trans Am in Brewster Green. Granted, I would prefer a tan or black interior, but that Camaro just looks neat to me like that. Different strokes, I guess.

We have a his and hers package. The wife wanted a Mustang to call her own, so I built the convertible for her. My 65 coupe, which I have had since 1972 was an original Kcode 289 Hipo, now much more. The best I have run in the 1/4 mile is a 10.54@132 mph with a little shot of giggle gas enrichment.

Hers:

His: In street trim

I'd like to see those two great looking Mustangs at the NMRA World Finals in Bowling Green in a couple weeks! I've been wanting to see this show and race for YEARS, and never have been able to, until now. We're going up early on Saturday, or maybe on Friday evening. Can't wait!

Drove a very worn out subaru for a long time and saved up for my baby.

2011 Mustang GT 5.0 liter, 412hp. Stock right now but my itch to tinker is starting to out pace my worries about warranty debates....

My first muscle car, and I LOVE it. A double shotgun case BARELY fits in the trunk, by a centimeter, but I can live with it. :)

UPDATE

Ok you gear heads. Lets see some power!!

Here's some for ya!

Me and the friend that owns this Nova went out for a drive this past Sunday. Two middle aged guys perfectly happy with going slow and watching people stare at his car.

We came to the last stop light before getting on the highway and guess what pulls up next to us? Brand new Mustang Cobra.

Too bad the twenty something kid didn't know how to drive cause we blew his doors off!:D Might have been different if it was a older driver.

He followed us onto the highway. When we merged with traffic we were already at 100 mph. Mustang still close behind. Mile down the road he caught us. Old Nova just doesn't handle curves at high speed like the Mustang.

Her are some of mine back in the day. 1980's,
1971 Blue GTX 440 4 bbl 4spd
1970 Red GTX 440 six pac 4 spd

By definition, not a true "muscle car," but this is one of my current vehicles:

The previous posts depict some really cool rides and remind me of my all-time favorite personally owned car. It was a 1974 Trans Am. Admiralty Blue with white seats and black trim. (An exceptionally rare color combination...and combined with these next listed options, truly rare.) It had a rear seat console and the mighty 455 Super Duty motor. All other options, of course, including dealer fitted cruise control which was not a factory option.

Yes, it had the bird on the hood.

Wish I had it back; sadly it was totaled in a collision. No, not a high speed one.

Be safe.

I drive it like I stole it....2006 Mustang GT with K&N air-box. I have put 72-K on it so far...........
