I have a Shield 40 on the way and will be getting a tuckable IWB holster...but which one's the best?
Opinions please.
Thanks

I like my $50 crown holster modular:

Royal Modular Holster

You will need to add the tuckable clips to your order, another $15.

I wear it IWB every day, very comfortable. I doubt you will find one "best", there are many recommendations in this forum for various brands.

I just bought this FoxX Trapp. Couldn't beat the price, quality and customer service. Should be here in a day or two. So Stoked!

Purchase Leather and Kydex IWB Hybrid Holsters - foxX holsters

Just an update...I've been wearing the FoxX Trapp for a little over a week. Amazing! Love this IWB holster. I like many others with their particular brand hardly know it's there. Great product/Great price!

A few minutes after putting on my Crossbreed I hardly know it's there. Although it is a bit slow to acess when sitting in my car/truck, so I unholster it at those times.

I have the Little Foxx IWB holster. This is the best holster that I have ever had. Comfortable and secure. Plus a great price. Love it.

I have the Comptac Mtac that I like. I espectially like how the kydex bodies are interchangeable so I dont' ahve to purchase a whole new holster for each gun. My brother has a crossbreed supertuck so I was able to compare both side by side. Each had it's own pros and you couldn't go wrong with either. I can't comment on the others metioned.

My favorite IWB by a large margin is the Concealment Solution Black Mamba CE. Way more comfortable than others I've tried and it's nice and thin (especially with the horsehide upgrade) so it compliments the Shield well.

Never had or tried an IWB holster. I live in Florida where the temps are usually very warm and humidity high. Shorts and T-shirt is the usual daily dress. Comfort and concealment with perspiration is the challenge down here. Have a new S&W M&P 9 Shield to carry and try out.

Comp-Tac Infidel is nice for quick trips. Milt Sparks VM2 is very comfy but the wait times are long. Crossbreed and similar kydex/leather holsters are comfy too but they're geared more towards larger guns, not pocket pistols (same with the VM2). PJ Holster is the best value in my opinion. Raven Concealment will be coming out with a Vanguard 2 for the Shield soon so if you like AIWB and concealment is the #1 priority, you might want to look into that. Vandalia (I think that's her name) did a review of the Shield VG2 prototype on YouTube. I hope they make one for the other M&Ps soon. My 45c needs one ASAP.

got a cover 6 gear holster at a gun show in wichita, ks. only webpage i can find for them is on facebook... http://www.facebook.com/Cover6Gear?filter=3 unique design and comfortable fit. also maneuverable around waistline eg appendix, center of back, cross draw... all from one holster

N82 Tactical Pro. Mine should be here tomorrow and if it's anything like the one I have for my Glock 23 it should be all I need. Only wish I'd have discovered it for my Glock before buying an Old Faithful and Crossbreed Super Tuck. www.n82tactical.com/n82store/

+1 for the N82. I'm in Florida, tee shirts, shorts and sweat. I wear mine 16 hours a day and love it.

Here's a few pics of my N82 Tactical tuckable with my Shield. LOVING it. So much easier to carry than my Glock 23 - but even that's manageable with the N82 I have for it also.

As I said previously - if I'd have bought my N82 for my Glock 23 first it would have saved me the $ I spent on my Crossbreed Supertuck and Old Faithful IWB's.
