Those evil "assault rifles." Let's see 'em.

They were sold a few years ago as 1960 Polish Milled. Century distributed them but I believe they subcontracted the work to an outfit named ATI. They were made from Polish kits judging from the markings on the bolt. The furniture looked pretty bad when I got it so I matched stain to the pistol grip and put quite a few coats of Boiled Linseed Oil on it.

It has run flawlessly through quite a few range sessions and is even pretty accurate.

Wish I still had it but the beer was good and cold and the cigarettes didn't make me cough much.

Hillbilly,
Just for you:

The AUG A3. The most fun rifle I own, and a favorite.
Colts.jpg

The Springfield M1A. It's the mil type rifle I've owned longest (13 years this month) and my avowed 'last to go' (sell) rifle.

The Sabre M4gery and A4 clone brothers. The A4 now has a KAC M5 foreend and different sling setup, the M4 sports an Aimpoint M4, DD Omega rail, and different sling setup.

And if anyone thinks these rifles are assault weapons, the critters below would probably...agree.

There's a few that haven't been photographed yet. A few homebuilt AK47 types, Arsenal SGL31 AK74 type, SCAR 17, etc. I also need to get around to taking some pictures of them all in their current configurations.
ETA: Took some current pics. The Sabre M4:

The SCAR 17. Yes, I forgot to flip up the rear sight. Fits better in the safe that way.

And, the Sabre A4 clone as currently set-up.

My wife's favorite AK Norinco National Match Mak 91, Dragonov style stock with extra butt pad, Chinese Navy sling. Most accurate AK I have ever fired, trigger is amazing. I plan on installing an Optimak scope mount with ACOG attached this spring. I have one an an Arsenal folding rifle and found it worked great with the ACOG.

This is my A-Forgery

While this is not the first AR I ever owned it is the first one I built myself. I am now working on building a 16" mid-length AR with an A2 upper receiver and the shorter A1 butt stock.
A very twisted avatar indeed. I like it.

Nothing special, an NM M1A, a lot more accurate than I am, and a Colt M4 with an Eotech sight. The Colt is at least as accurate as the M1A, incidently. Also a pic of the Colt geting a workout in the desert.

I had some nice Colt ARs, FALs, M1As, M1 Carbines, et al. But before I could take some photos to document that I had them, they were all lost in an unfortunate ice fishing accident on Lake Huron in September. In about 1,200 feet of water. As a law abiding comrade, I will provide any agency looking for them with the Lat/Long-gives one a 60 mile circle of water to search.
My go to HD long gun is now a Browning A-Bolt 12 gauge with a rifled barrel, plus a couple of 870s. Browning shoots 1.3 MOA with sabot slugs. I am now looking for an evil shotgun to administer fits to those who need to have fits and seizures about something.

Below is my Spikes Tactical middy. I just picked up my Palmetto carbine length on Friday. Got to get a picture of that.
