M&P15-22 Mag development

You can do as much as 30 .22WMR rounds before it has to curve because the case is much longer and the angle is shallower. As for the HK-270 it was a design disaster. It had several design flaws including ejection and HK quietly bought all of them back.

Look. You can't blame the guy. I may be new to this particular forum but I'm 51 years old and have had guns all my life. I know guns.

.22LR double-stack magazines is kinda the holy grail of .22LR carts. There have been a lot of brilliant minds that have thrown many man-hours at this problem over many, MANY years, mostly; to no avail.

Now some guy jumps on a forum on the internet and claims to have found the holy grail of .22LR. You should be able to appreciate the skepticism if you've been around guns for any period of time and especially if you know your way around a .22.

Everybody wants to see. Waiting on a camera? Really? Those are the kinds of things that produce the skepticism and doubt. You should understand that too.

I want a couple too, and I'm not really calling you out, but you gotta understand, there's a lot of doubters here lurking that have never posted to this thread.

If the cost to me of explaining this to you point-blank (no pun intended) is that I'll never get one, then so be it, but that's about where you are after 90-odd days.

Frankly, I'm afraid this is all a moot point now. I see a hi-cap ban soon, if not sooner. I'm completely against it, but I think we all have to be realistic. I doubt if production started tomorrow that we'd ever see delivery. Sad deal. I was looking forward to it. I guess as they say ........... a day late.
I wish common sense would come into play on all this, but it will not happen.

Still looking forward to it. Nobody can see the future. If a ban comes, it comes. But until it does, DT should keep up his efforts, and anyone who's interested should support it.

I've spent too much time and money on this mag design. Even if a ban goes into effect I already sold enough to myself. Get my drift. The only thing I will be upset about is the money spent on the patent that will not serve any purpose if the Ban happens.

Everyone has a right to their opinion. I respect everyone's post of skepticism regarding this mag. Yes its been almost 90 days since I have posted information on this mag design. Things have not been going as planned with the filing of the patent or injection molding. The company I'm dealing with for the molds is delaying things for me and I cant control their progress.

The camera was not a big issue I just wanted to use a good camera for the video. Just me being picky. I understand everyone wants to see this mag and its capabilities. I'll take the compliment on the Holy Grail. A double stack .22lr has been proven by Ruger and Kel-Tec. To be honest Kel-tec's mag gave me the idea to design one for my M&p15-22.

Don't take any of this discussion as disrespect I just wanted to address your comments.

DT,
You will be fine and "Stay The Course"... trust me...after 30 years of being around and collecting historical firearms and shooting... SOMEBODY else will want your mags...even if they are hypothetically banned form civilian purchase in the future here in the USA... another country... its people, or LEO, or military... will be using 15-22's to crosstrain.... since 22 is soooo much cheaper.!!!!

Hopefully, the American gunowners... will stand up and fight for the right to show the brainwashed masses...and those dumbed down by the anti-gun media and emotional hysteria... that a product such as yours that you are bringing to market, will NOT have anything to do with as to curing the evil... or repairing the the downfall of personal responsibility and the degradation of our culture in the last 50 plus years...

Paul
