I am drained thinking and talking about this. This news is disgusting to say the least... The blatant and reckless disregard for the for the rights of law abiding citizens is saddening. I pray it will not end like this. I also hope these decisions if upheld will be challenged in court.
I was gonna post something earlier but gave up. However, the word "disgust" kept coming up over and over and over....

Anyone have thoughts on how they came up with a 7 round magazine limit? Was this just to mess with the average citizen since most magazines (other than small .32's, .25's and some small .380's) for most popular semi-auto pistols have 8 to 15 round capacity on average?? Or did they just want to make sure that if you get attacked by the 7 Dwarfs, that you have 1 round for each dwarf?? Just does not make any sense that they picked "7" as the magic limit for magazines. Eliminates lots of rifles as well, but I guess that is the real point -- to eliminate most guns from legal ownership. If they can get away with this, the next wave will be to restrict honest citizens to single-shot rifles and pistols. What lunacy.

They can make any law they want to.....but if it infringes on our second amendment...we can disregard it because it is unconstitutional and stepping beyond their bounds. I think the NRA will challange what ever they do that crosses the line and they need to consider the we are not their subjects and we can push back....The Constitution is on the side of Free men...A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. many of us took an Oath to protect and Defend the Constitution...and we have the ability to prevent anyone from taking our freedom....take a look at Oath Keepers sometime...good organization to consider if TSHTF

What I'd love one anti-gun person to explain is where, exactly, do they come up with their magic number of magazine capacity that is "ok"? They go on and on about "sensible" and "reasonable" restrictions, but that implies they can articulate a sound reason backed by facts, studies, and statistics. I've never heard of or seen a single scientific rationale for magazine size restrictions of any particular size. So, if they are "reasonable" and "sensible", then show me the facts and reason for this.

The use of the meaningless words "reasonable" or "sensible" by those wanting to disarm law abiding folks is nothing but camouflage and I want those words stricken from the discussion. There was nothing unreasonable or non sensible about the law the day before the Connecticutt shooting. This is nothing more than the anti-gun fringe capitalizing on the death of school children to advance their cause.

Yes, they will. There are no restrictions in Federal regulations to prevent it. I moved many times in the military and shipped firearms each time. My father was an agent for North American Van Lines for nearly 40 years, I saw firearms shipped on a regular basis there as well.
