Picked up my .22 Wednesday, finally opened it up last night for it's first cleaning and after loading the magazine it just felt ... flimsy. Looking at it the way they were stacked just didnt seem right so I figured I'd ask about it, but when looking at the rounds they aren't stacked one on top of the other .. some slip almost giving them a double stacked look.

That's the way they are. As the rounds feed to the top of the mag they'll be positioned right where they need to be. No worries.

That is correct. I also don't take my load button all the way to the bottom, just far enough to drop in 3-4 bullets in at a time. Seems to help. M7P 22 shoots much better than I thought it would.
