I thought about that, i guess if it doesn't want to come out I'll have to get a black paint marker or just get inventive and disassemble and paint the entire slide. This is my one and only gun so i don't plan to sell it or anything, just going to use it until it has to be replaced.
I tried some darker green nail polish from Target. It looks pretty sweet but is a bit of a repetitive process to keep filling in the gaps and wiping clean.
Family photo. Top left is my .22, top right the Talo .40 with Nickle Boron slide and barrel, bottom is a plain jane .40. The holster in the middle is a Galco V-Hawk and is one of the best holster's I've used. I also just got a Blackhawk Serpa for use around the house and at the range.
