Need Clips

So I just bought an AR-15 22, but it only came with one clip. I heard they are hard to find right now. Any advice?

Just depends which magazine you prefer. I have had no trouble finding the Plinker mags which are 35 rounds. Anywhere from $25-$40. I found a few Black Dog 50 round drums as well. I have a local store that has the Plinker Taticals in stock for $35. If you can't find any, PM me, and I'll grab you a couple and ship them to you.

Ps. Careful with the word "Clip" here. Some guys over look it and respond anyway, while others will chew your head off for not referring to them as "Magazines". As you can see, I'm not one of those guys lol

Just give it up now, clips for your M&P 15-22 are going to be impossible to find. But, you can find magazines for it, if you scour the web. They seem to appear now and then on different websites. Try Midway, Gunboinker (oops, Gunbroker.com), and eBay.

some people are new to firearms or the forum and don't know the correct terms for them. we can all stop being sarcastic about it and politely inform them as we gained a fellow firearm owner/friend/member.
midway, promag, s&w(if you can still get them from them) are all places i have got mags from. also hit up some gun shows as they can be reliable sometimes but get there early.

Yeah, your right... Sorry Pete, just in a bad mood I think. Your best bet for mags is a place called Tactical Vantage. They seem to get 32 round Promags in weekly and usually one of the members will post when they are in stock. They run around 18 bucks and ship pretty quick. As for factory mags, well, that's like trying to find Bigfoot.

He is 73 and I know what he is talking about so who cares. One of the reasons gun owners have such a bad reputation is we tend to use jargon and belittle anyone who isn't in the know. Ask all the questions you need and as you have already seen some of the fine folks on here will try to help, good luck and kick some brass. By the way if you find any S&W mags let us ALL know

Heck, if Pete even finds some M&P 15-22 "clips" I'll certainly be appreciative. Given the scarcity, who really cares if they are called clips or magazines??? I for one could care less what they are called. I'm just glad to see that there are some new firearms owners joining the cause...so to speak.

BTW, if you are not talking about a conversion of some sort, the model is a "M&P15-22" or simply, "15-22". Sometimes it can be useful to know which rifle you own.

Anybody that grew up with guns from a young age has heard them called a clip, or called them a clip at one time or another. People understand what you mean. There are just some magazine nazis, just like spelling nazis and grammar nazis same as any other forum
