Nice Centennial! I especially like that first style flat latch. Somehow they are much more attractive than the second and third style.

Oh yeah.......I only have 3 at the moment though. A model 10-5 38 spl, a Taurus 357 mag. and a Rossi/Taurus 44 mag.
 
I like snubby revolvers very much, I currently have one in my collection and I am saving up to buy another one.
 
Warm weather is snubbie weather. I just put a spring kit in my Model 649 and hope to get some trigger time with it tomorrow if the weather stays warm.

Anyway here's a pic of most of the serial number.

So . . . what? About 1919 or early 1920? Just after heat treatment of the cylinders started. I'm assuming there are two digits blanked out. There should be no "Made in U.S.A." on the right side of the frame.

Very nice looking revolver!
