OFFICIAL (IN-STOCK) 15-22 Magazines

Please show me where this product is in stock anywhere else... this or any other S&W 15-22 magazine. I think most people would disagree with your assessment of product availability.

I'm just curious why folks are picking on this supplier. Do you know what they paid to get this inventory in? Look at ammo. How many suppliers are selling at old costs? How many people would love to purchase 22lr at double the old cost? Many are buying it at triple the old cost, if not more. How many ammo sellers have been treated this way for offering large inventory for double what was paid last year? Let me know the next time you see an ammo seller get crucified for selling .09 cent or .10 cent 22lr.

That's not what I said, read and quote the rest. I'm picking on them because they would try to rip me off. If nobody buys at these rip off prices they will drop the price to be competitive or go out of business. That is the beauty of Capitalism, and I'm a capitalist to the bone.

I currently have an order from Delta 3 on backorder. I have spoken with a rep from the company about my order, and he gave me the option to cancel if I didn't feel comfortable waiting. He was very professional and helpful. Hope everything goes through.

Gentlemen, gouging is the act of raising prices on NECESSITIES during a time of disaster. Such items as food, water, medicine and gasoline are such necessities.

Ammo and magazines DO NOT fall into that category. Buying magazines and ammo is an optional purchase, not required for the sustaining of life.

In a non-emergency situation vendors are free to charge whatever the traffic will bear and we are free to pay the prices or not.

I ordered some mags from Delta Three Outfitters earlier this morning, got my email confirmation but my CC hasnt been charged

It didnt say anything about a backorder but I wont be suprised

Shipping was only like $7.95 UNLIKE sublimehunting.com , there shipping price was INSANE $77.94 bucks if i ordered 6 mags
I even emailed them a few days ago asking them if it was a mistake but Of course never heard back

Don't hold your breath on your order. Looking at their other items I see they list NOTHING as out of stock to include FDE and OD pmags that I haven't seen for sale anywhere in many months.

It's a non-precise use of the term price gouging but in reality it's profiteering. Regardless, they are choosing to inflate the price for whatever reason and its not bc their actual price of the mag has gone up. I've called smith & wesson and they have not increased prices. Call it gouging or profiteering, Either practice is despised by the consumer. Hopefully, the consumer will punish any retailer for their actions in the future by taking their business elsewhere. I know I will.

but in reality it's profiteering.
OMG... imagine someone trying to make maximum profits in a capitalistic society. I'm sure Hearst, Ford, Rockefeller, etc. are rolling over in their graves. I don't doubt Exxon now is gonna rethink their business strategy.

Of course this company stands a chance of alienating part of their client base. That is their decision to make. But in America do we really want to vilify any company for selling luxury items at whatever price they want? I'll ask again, what were they selling beer & dogs for at your last sporting/concert event?

It's a free-market economy, folks. You don't like the price, don't buy.

Profiteering has exactly the same legal definition as so-called gouging. It applies to overcharging for NECESSITIES in a disaster/emergency situation. This does not apply to ammo and magazines in the current economy. Get over it!

Where's the condemnation of members of this forum asking outrageous prices for magazines in the classified section? No one's complaining about the last post offering two 25-round S&W mags for $75 each!

I nearly urinated myself when I walked into my local gun shop and saw a rack filled with factory S&W 15-22 mags for $24 a piece. Grabbed one of those up real quick.

You say you own a business. What kind and how long?

Why are you standing up for a company that would rip it's customers a new one?

If 44mag was the ONLY source for S&W mags, all these complaints might have some validity. Since they are NOT the only source, they can charge what they want and if you don't like it, spend your money elsewhere.

Vilify? Sure, a little and frankly, it's a little deserved.

Also, I generally go to professional sporting venues wearing cargo pants. The pockets are filled with gourmet goodies and adult libations. Consider it a subtle protest against profiteering. Because I love it when gouger's/profiteer's groins run into my knee; figuratively speaking, of course.

They went out pretty quick after I posted gunbot factor? Yesterday after they would not add to cart some people reported they were able to purchase, maybe something with the inventory process?

Not that it makes any difference but we are printers and I have been involved with it for over 50 years... and have owned a majority of it for 25. Only years I haven't been involved is when I served in the Air Force.

Because I'm old school American that believes in freedom & capitalism. Freedom to do as I wish & freedom to run my business, as I wish, without critical input from others or the government. Freedom to set my prices as I wish. Freedom to pay my employees the wages I think proper, which they can accept or go elsewhere. Freedom to succeed or fail. Freedom to hit it rich or go broke... or maybe both. Freedom to put as many damn bullets in as many damn guns I can get my hands on.

I wish to have these freedoms without anyone sticking their nose into my business. If you don't like the way I run my business, then go to a competitor... don't bash me in public. Of course no one is bashing me but I was taught to look after my fellow man. I was taught & live my life by the golden rule. I would not want someone bashing my company on a public forum so I will give my input.

Like I stated, Midway had the S&W 10 round long mags in stock for $19.95. So there are other mags available RIGHT NOW at non astronomical prices.

While it's great that 44Mag has mags for sale and obviously people are purchasing them, the free market works both ways.

44Mag can choose to sell their products at whatever they feel they can sell them for and I as a consumer can choose not to purchase from them and remember when things return to "normal" who maintained their prices, who didn't, and who I will choose to continue to do business with.

Same goes for ammo. I've been able to add THOUSANDS of round of ammo at .04 a round. Believe me, if or when things return to normal, I'll remember those selling ammo at .10 a round or higher and I will choose not to do business with them either.

Isn't the FREE market wonderful?

if you dont order them as soon as you get the email they are gone been notified about 4 times and alwas to late need to keep a closer eye on my email

44mag

I just got 2 of the 25 rounders from S&W direct for 48 bucks shipped. The same ones from 44mag would cost 125 bucks......are you kidding me????

Sorry Jim...we aren't talking a little markup here...we are talking an outright gouge and a half. That price is hideous. Based on it being 4 hours later and still having 100+ in stock that a majority of 15-22 owners agree. They are going to price themselves out of business if they are banking on 15-22 magazines keeping them afloat.

I still have 4 of the short 10 rounders on b/o and even when they ship my total order for 6 mags will still be less than 2 of the ones they are selling.

Big ditto here. I got great prices from 44mag before the frenzy. With s and w prices its pretty clear what they are doing. I hope not too many folks are buying.... its a real shame.
