I just ordered several tins of LaRue IndexClips for use on my 15-22 & AR. IMO, they are the best rail covers out there. I have used LaRue for several other purchases in the past, including rail mounts, optics & a magnifier and every time they have exceeded my expectations. My next dream purchase is one of their ARs. Good Lord, they are beautiful & most certainly not stock ARs.

If you ever order, you might be surprised in what they add in your box. In my box, besides the two tins of IndexClips, they included 3 copies of the Constitution (with the Declaration of Independence), a DVD of the 10th annual international sniper competition, 2 bumper stickers (Extremely Rightwing & God bless our troops... especially our snipers) plus some drop dead gorgeous brochures showing their ARs and all their mounts & optics. Then they add a 7oz jar of Dillo Dust dry rub which is really outstanding on smoked ribs. Lastly, they always add a beverage entry tool, which is cool looking bottle opener shaped like an armadillo.

They are a US corporation & their tag line is "made dead-center of Texas, USA".

I read where a year or two ago they came out with a prototype 22lr upper, but don't see it in their product listing. Anyone know anything about that?

They're a class act, and their products approach perfection. I use the Dillo Rub on all sorts of things too - yum!

Phil, love the dog! I have 10 but none will wear a hat. Eat one? No problem. But wear one? Not a chance.

I read somewhere where some folks put an IndexClip on every other slot. From what I understand, that gives them better traction/grip. I personally like the smooth, rounded feel they give the rails when all slots are covered.

You will find the lower back contour cutout of the Dillo is great for removing the index clips from your rifle. It will save you a lot of finger pain or scars on the rail from prying the clip off with a tool like a screwdriver. :D

I have an OBR on order for sometime this year (I hope).

Yep, I read about that. Thanks!

I am SO jealous. You getting the 7.62 mm or the 5.56 mm? I'm considering going ahead & pulling the trigger and getting my order in for one. Since I have a Stag 5.56 I'm thinking of getting a 7.62. Curious why you picked the OBR over the Predatar. I can't make up my mind.

I have not decided on the caliber yet. Probably 5.56, with an 18" barrel either way. All of my AR's are 16" carbines and have been built as SHTF/battle rifles. I'm looking for a longer range gun in the OBR.

I'm not 100% sure on the model. I do want an OBR barrel and gas system. May go with the PredatOBR, but I have not seen one in the flesh. I do like the longer rail.

I have an order position that I hope comes up this year. When it does, I will drive over and look at the latest stuff to finalize the order. They are only about twenty miles from my home. Great people to deal with.

When you place your order, you must pick which gun you want. You aren't allowed to switch unless you jump to the back of the line.

Also, they do not have a storefront so you cant "drive over and look at the latest stuff to finalize the order."

I love my LT rifle...the best I own.

Thanks.

I tried them in every other slot. It works well like finger grooves.

Holy ****, that's a lot of dogs!! Are you a rescue service or are they your personal pets?

They are our babies. All 10 are rescues or captures and they all live in the house with us. We built this house with pets in mind, so we can zone off parts of the house to be pet free. We have a doggy door in the mud room which gives them 24 hour a day access to our one acre fenced in back yard.

We also have 2 cats & 4 horses.
