I've been doing some looking around, and wondering what everyone is using for cleaning and lubing there firearms. I've been looking at Hoppe's No.9. a lot of people have like this product, and it gets good reviews, but i know everyone has
there own opinion.

And with ammo, i guess you have to be at the right place at the
right time. my buddy found me 330 rounds at gander mountain(have no clue how) for 130 bucks. I myself can't find anything at gander mountain.

Hoppes No. 9 for cleaner. Lightweight Mobil 1 for oil (5W-30 is good). One jug will last you forever.

Using FrogLube on my M&P 9C and like so far. Feels slick and pistol is very easy to clean. Was former Hoppe's and BreakFree CLP user.

Frog Lube

I've never seen "Frog Lube" in my area. Is it only on-line?
Thanks...Bruce

I ordered the Frog Lube on line, as I couldn't find in local gun shops. Purchased small amount of liquid and paste.

do you have to heat that up ? and is it a pain when cleaning?

Frog Lube +1.This stuff is fantastic ,guns run better imo. it may be a pain to some to condition your firearm with this stuff but cleanup is a breeze and everything just seems to run better.

I've heard a lot of good things about Frog Lube but I don't plan on going that route because I've been very pleased with the Italian Gun Grease line of products. These are top notch cleaners and lubricants that make my regular cleaning so easy, not much more than a wipe down and running a patch through the bore. It's just that easy, really.

So many good cleaners out there. I use Mobil 1 plenty and also find Marvel Mystery oil to be an excellent cleaner.

But for handguns I mostly use a CLP either Break Free or Slip.

Just clean after every firing and you can basically use anything.

I recently went FrogLube. After my first time, since switching, cleaning the guns was a lot easier. I also noticed less grime when cleaning.I also like the fact that I don't need gloves because FL is a food grade lube, smells good too.

Everything about the gun seems to glide a lot easier too.
