I have his Greatest hits to. Remember his music well. Still listen
when one of his songs comes on oldies radio. Sadly he was gone
to soon and we lost out on more of his good songs. Goose

My wife and I used to gas up our old '87 Toyota 4wd truck, get some snacks and drinks and her favorite Jim Croce cassette. She'd load up her 4" 66-3 and I'd have my snubby on my belt. We'd pick an old mountain road and just start exploring. I'd just be a nice peaceful day in the mountains.
Our newer 4wd Tacoma has a cd player and I'm hoping to do it again one day when things calm down a little.

DON'T DO IT!!!

That cassette will gum up your CD player, not to mention ruin your tape! Ayeyey!!! :D:D:D

Interesting thread timing. I actually just dug out some of his stuff last night. I have almost all his original releases on vinyl, including an early album hi did as a duet with his wife.

Yeah, used to like a lot of his stuff, the funny ones ("...and you don't mess around with Jim") and the more serious ones. Two favorites in the latter category were "I've Got A Name" and "It Doesn't Have To Be That Way".

Terrible shame he was killed so young.
