Just got my shield 9. Too bad I had to send it in before I could take a shot for repairs. Indented feed ramp, sights visibly offset to the left.

I have a .40 thats supposed to be sent in. Not going to. It has a safety at the back of the slide.

Just finished my barrel project, and smoothing my own trigger.. more to come. I'm loving this gun.. It's just the cure for missing my Glock 26!

makes me wanna go buy polishing supplies and go polish my barrel.

Only thing that I am changing on this gun is the sights. I had the white dot fall out of the front sight and fixed it temporarily with my daughters white fingernail polish but went ahead and ordered a set of fixed Williams fire sights. Other than that this is one sweet M&P9. Love it !

Failed W/poor service?

Probably just me, but I fired 100 rounds through this gun...Then the locking block cracked in half. I called smith and wesson and their reply:

"well, thats too bad. There will be a charge but I can't tell you how much until we fix it because I don't know exactly whats wrong with it."

So sad S&W.... I just threw this gun to the wayside and purchased a Glock. Terrible.
