PS3 for me, I am looking forward to "The Last of Us" I know its out already but I usually wait until I can find new games at Game Stop for half price or cheaper I am cheap like that. But since I really started in growing my small family of Smith and Wessons + others I haven't been buying anything new game wise that is. I like the Drake's Fortune Series and the Assasins Creed series and Hitman Trilogy, but I havent played the new one yet.

Used to spend hours and hours on line in Aces High. WWII aerial combat simulation. Every waking hour. I had to give it up when I realized it had become and addiction.

crysis 3 is the best shooter so far out with great multiplayer....havent found one to topth feel and graphics and bullets physics yet. cant wait till november-ps4 and the shooters associated with it

I can wait for the PS4 ... if it still stands that its not backwards compatible

if u have a ps3 already why waste the ps4's space? i have a 1tb drive in the ps3 with my games ill gladly keep on it...the ps4 will be a nice new addition in the family. i like the feature of the ps4. you dont need a game to play my game online for me if im stuck just go to my friend page and game file and play real-time, graphic are 4x more crisp, the hardware rivals alienware (pre DELL) and there seems to be a good library already building-planetside 2, watchdogs, killzone, infamous 2nd son, and that racing game which name i cannot recall at the moment. gpu and runs on a different cpu so you can multitask like the ps3 only teased and hinted towards.

also cannot wait till google glass is released

i thought about the xbone, but i have never liked their controllers, and most of the people i know who i play online with have their ps4's reserved to. my ps3 is one of the very first ones, there was not much wrong with them, nothing as bad as the rrod. i'm hoping the same goes for the 4.

my brother has the xbone on reserve so i'll be trying it when it comes out.

you seriously have one of the first ones that still plays PS2 games? if so i am very suprised the parts have not failed on you yet...

we will see, like i said every other system that is initially released has had some issue...but again if we didn't have the dedicated fans out buying them up on day one, these issues would not be found so quickly

It will always stand that they are not backwards compatible...too far advanced to do so.

yes i do have one...a few months ago, i thought the hdmi was going on it as the screen would black out, but still have sound...tried new hdmi cables to the surround, but that didn't fix it. it wasn't often, just on loud booms during games or movies...i set it on the floor thinking it was vibration loosening the hdmi plug, but that didn't help. nothing worked, thought the ps3 was on it's way out so i plopped the money down on a ps4...we "needed" a blu-ray player and a game system too, so i could wait and hope it lasted. the weekend after i pre-ordered the ps4, it went, i could not get any picture at all. the wife and sis-in-law were planning on watching Les Miserables the next day so she went and bought a blu ray player and hooked it up using the same cables the the ps3 were on. not a problem with it. so i thought i would use the av cable to hook into the tv with the ps3. it worked, but the pic quality was bad, so i decided to try yet another hdmi cable to a different port on the tv. it has worked perfect every since. now the actual blu ray player is doing the same thing the ps3 did...i am thinking it is our surround sound as i have had the same issue with the ps3 on 2 different tvs.

i also have a japan 20gb backwards compatible model, its still brand new in box and will be kept as a collectors item nothing more. the 60/80gb usa models did break alot and were not cost effective thats why sony stop producing them. ps4 could emulate ps3 games but sony wouldnt want its new virgin software to get hacked off the line like the psp did, also the reason we cannot run linux after 3.55 unless your running cfw
