Holster opinions needed.

Need opinions for IWB holsters for my Shield that I picked up a month ago. I've been reading forums for about a month now trying to decide which holster to get. It's time to just order something so I can start carrying it. I'm looking for something thin and I prefer standard or low ride height. Not looking for anything with a high ride height. Kydex or leather is fine. I'm not interested (right now) in any holsters that have a 3+ week wait time... I need something soon.

I have found a few options that seem nice but I have no first hand experience with them. They are:

Kusiak Leather IWB Canted
High Noon Mr Softy
Foxx Trapp
Foxx Hybrid
Aegis Armory Shield
Remora
Fist #1ak(adjustable cant)

I would love to hear opinions on these holsters and any others that I should put on the list. As always pics would be great.

Their holsters are adjustable for cant and for height. Reasonable price, 4 week wait tho.

I have a Kusiak for my Shield and it is thin and rides low, so that might work well for you. I just got a leather holster from Defensive Line Leathers that is real nice too. It is thicker, heavier leather, and seems to be very well made. Nice pricing too. Check them out.

I use the SHTF Gear holsters for both my MP40c and my MP Shield40. These holsters are hybrid kydex/leather. The kydex is attached to the leather by rivets and hand sewn Kevlar thread. Each belt clip has 4 adjustment holes. Also note that there is adequate clearance for your thumb to place high on the grip on draws ... some brands leave a chunk of leather in the way. I have a kusiak for my bodyguard and for the money it's tough to beat. The clip is very strong and tight. I debated getting one for the shield but I opted for the offset clip iwb from lobo. Ray said it would be about 6 weeks.

Check out gunner's custom holsters. Found him on FB. Everything he does is custom, but his turn around time is phenomenal. And the prices are damn good too. I had a custom color holster made for IWB on my 9c done and shipped in 2 weeks from the order.

I have been using the Foxx Hybrid for more than a month and can't imagine very many IWB holsters being much more comfortable than this is. The price is very reasonable and IMO just as good as those brands that are asking twice as much and having a long waiting list.

+2 for Hidden Hybrid......I think the website says 4 weeks to ship, I got mine in 1. Its well made and has a very comfortable no-slip backing and I love the option to carry iwb or owb.

Also just got a Pro Carry HD from The Holster Store. Its an all leather single clip holster that is formed specifically for the shield, ships quick and very affordable.

I've had a lot of holsters already, and the plastic ones don't turn me on.... Especially when I make kydex holsters and I know Kydex cost $4 a sheet and see these things sold for $45! Those holsters are maybe half a sheet and come with a $2 clip. Sorry.

Get a good leather IWB holster and be happy for the rest of your life.
