We need to reintroduce PHONE booths. Our current population are not very polite. Texting in a movie is just as rude as someone doing while they drive or during a meeting: both deserving of an *** whoopin'.

Well, I don't want to shoot anyone, but cell phones and the users that are rude, ignorant, self-centered, careless and ill-mannered have kept me out of theatres for 10 years now.

If I didn't need vittles, I'd give up driving for the same reason.

It's best to wait till all the facts are in. I've seen a vid of an eyewitness sitting right next to the man shot. Just prior to the shot being fired there was popcorn thrown!

That's not funny. A woman lost her husband and a daughter lost her father because of one grumpy old man.

There is nothing a person can do during a movie worth shooting them over. At the very least go complain to the manager and get a free ticket to another showing. I dislike rude people as much as anyone, but to shoot a guy over a text? During the previews? No, this guy should spend the rest of his life in prison and 50% of any retirement or equity he has should go to the family of the guy he shot.

this does nothing but make it look bad for us...I am sure the media will have a field day with this...I for one am just as fed up with the rude people and their cell phones, but it is not worth shooting someone over...I think that someone got in over their head and made a bad decision...sad thing

This isn't good. I don't know if the guy was legally carrying but I know that losing your temper isn't reason enough to kill a man. Some girl has a dead dad and a mom in the hospital as a result.
