Young Brothers Massacre, A tactical expert opinion.

You, sir, have a future with the Philly Police.

Potentially the "burn it down with a fire bomb" strategy would work better in rural Missouri than it did in Philly.

Kind of disingenuous to use a statement made in a completely different context to make someone look stupid.
Great example character assassination, but only at someone else's expense.

Out in a field with a lot of open spaces surrounding the structure with a clear field of fire?
Not even close.

Early thirties rural America almost anywhere….cutting off power most likely would have meant taking away the wood pile and draining the kerosene out of their lanterns. And communications meant a trip to town to replace the batteries for the radio.
Rural Electrification Administration, an FDR new deal piece, didn't get going until 1935.
Times were much different then. My late father, born in 1930 and raised in the rural Midwest, told me once it was late thirties, early forties before the wires made it to the farmhouse. Communication with the nearest town required a drive or a ride on a horse.
My comment exactly. The farm I was born on in southern Iowa didn't get electricty until 1948 or 49. I was 10 then.
