What revolvers do you use as a CCW?

I also rotate around a few different revolvers.
The main ones would be:
3 Inch 66-2 carried in a Rocky Hill Pancake.
2 Inch 15 carried in a Rocky Hill Pancake.
2-3/4" 315 Night Guard carried in a Rocky Hill Pancake.
2-3/4 Inch 310 Night Guard carried in a Rocky Hill Pancake.
2" 442 Pro Moon Clip carried in a pancake, or a Nemisis in my inside jacket pocket.
I also have a 2 Inch Model 10 Round Butt, but I have it on loan to my brother.
2" Ruger LCR 22 in a pancake or a Nemisis. This is mainly my Snub Practice revolver. But I do carry it now and again. I live just down the road from Mayberry, so I live in a pretty low threat area.
My brother carries his LCR 22 all the time in the Summer months with a 50% load of shot shells, and the other half CCI Segmented.

I normally carry either 1 or 2 reloads infront of the holster. I have started to switched from my Safariland Comp II speed loaders in a CD-2 carrier, to Jet Loaders or Comp II's in a Big Creek kydex carrier. I have lost 2 of the CD-2's in the last 2 years off my belt. The Big Creek carrier threads on the belt, and cannot come off like the clip on CD-2 can.

In the Winter I will also carry my 4 Inch 64 and 4 Inch 686-5 some. Also in Rocky Hill pancakes.

In my 38 Special and 357 Magnum revolvers I carry Speer 125 Gold Dot's or 135 Gold Dots most of the time.
In the 310 NG I carry 175 grain Winchester Silver Tip 10mm ammunition most of the time.
So far I am carrying my moon clip reloads for the 310NG and 442 Pro in California Competition Works SAM single post moon clip carriers.

I could add several good revolvers to the list. At the very top would be the 640, and model 60 in a S&W and the SP101 Ruger.

I generally will only choose a revolver when I want to carry a pocket gun.

Usually this is when my wardrobe will not allow me to carry a bigger auto in a belt holster.

When this need arises, I choose one of my 642s.

The 337PD is beautiful, I also have one and it is great and does get carried. My other revolver for carry is a 65-4 in an IWB holster made by Cabo Holsters. Unfortunatley they were a short lived company and are no longer in business, sad because it does a wonderfull job. Jim.

Well, if carrying in general for walks and wheeler rides in the woods, I usually have any one of these:

-m36-7 in a little pancake
-m19-3, 4"bbl in a pancake
-m29-2, 4" bbl in a pancake

Depends on what one raises it's hand first when I open the safe and ask who wants to go for a walk. ;)

There are three conceal carry choices in my revolver stable.

A Colt Agent 38 Special

A S&W 66 2 1/2 inch 357 Magnum

A S&W 696 44 Special

I know it's blasphemy on this forum, but the Agent usually gets the nod. :)

Mod 637. Sometimes carry an auto. 59 or 380 BG. Gotta admit I really like to carry a SAA loaded with 38 special with BLACK POWDER. Only non S&W I own. Not practical to carry but it just feels good. Love that smoke wagon.

Way too many...
Rotate a M&P .38 3", a M65 .357 3", an Aussie M10 4" HB, a M58 .41, a M28 4", a M25-5 4". And some others.....

Gun porn!

Chiefs special model 36. I used to carry it in an ankle holster. Its kind of heavy so I bought the Bodyguard 38. Still working on that one. It does not fit any of my holsters, so i had one made from kydex IWB. The third option is a ruger LCP. I prefer the revolvers, they are my "big guns" for carry.

640 Pro Series and 340PD

I usually carry my 640 Pro in an IWB and my 340PD in a pocket holster as a New York reload.
