Welcome from South Carolina Upcountry. Go Vols!
Working for my local sheriff's office, we took some "clients" to Brushy when it was still operational. Never heard a bus load of men get so quiet so quickly.Welcome neighbor. I live in Morgan County which borders Cumberland County. I live near the famous Brushy Mountain State Prison site (now a tourist attraction including restaurants and winery). I live in a nearby beautiful valley.
Eforest99 , welcome to a great forum from Robbins Tennessee. This is a great forum made up of great folks. I am glad that you joined up with us. My wife Jeannie and I are in our 80 plus years but we love our guns and we both carry them all the time. Keep posting and always remember we love pictures.Hey folks, I've already posted a few times without introducing myself. I go by eforest99 and live near Knoxville in East Tennessee. I love to shoot as a hobby and always carry for self defense. I've had firearms since I was 16 and started learning to shoot about age 8, taught by my Marine Corp Reservist sharp shooter dad! I've only had one situation where I had to self defense draw in my 60+ years; and 41 years of CCW. Pic below of that gun, the only pistol I had for many years.
EDC is a S&W M&P Shield Plus 9mm and a Taurus PT738 TCP .380 (an "A" model and flawless performance with FMJ since 2010). My wife also has a S&W M&P Shield Plus 9mm. We also have some Berettas, Walthers, etc. I have my mom's 1955 Model S&W 22/32 Airweight .22 revolver kit gun, although it actually belongs to my oldest daughter! lol. My parents and one set of grandparents all carried. My wife and I both have carry permits, and I think that CCW should be CCF(firearm), CCS(security), etc; I have never used a firearm as a "weapon!" A car can be a "weapon" if used as such. Anyway, looking forward to this forum!
