That is for a pair of aligners only, NOT the UpLULA loader.
I noticed that after I posted, but didn't get to delete the reply in time. Darn.
STILL worth every penny, even it is almost as much as an extra mag.
Just as an FYI, you may not be able to load the last round in your M&P mags with it. They are just too dang tight. Some trim the follower, some clip a coil or two off the spring. Search the forum, you'll find lot's of posts.
I load the last round (10 round limit here in CA) by hand. Don't have an issue with Mecgars or my Promags.

Did anyone mention the Uplula? (LOL) They are definitely worth it. So you spend an extra $10 from what you'd like to spend & load the mags you have saving your thumb in the process & then save your money until you have enough for that extra mag. You won't be sorry.
It's especially cruel when you finally get that last round loaded & you jack it in the chamber only to have to load that last round in again to top it off if you want to carry +1.
With the Uplula you can load & unload your mags by hand & keep repeating the process. Leave the mags loaded a few days & repeat. It won't take long and those mags will lose some of their stiffness with that process. I'd do that before making any mods on the spring. There's a chance the spring won't be strong enough to feed properly in the near future.
Uplulas will allow you to load much faster at the range giving you more shooting time. With 6 - 15 rounders & 3 - 10 rounders it's a big time saver for me.

I've read this several times but never understood why it was an issue? I've been loading first round in single stacks shield magazine with the Uplula without problems - is it a safety issue, or speed issue, or other? Just curious...
I also never knew there was a single stack accessory guide (for 1911's it appears). But does it work with Shield mags? I've been getting along fine without it I guess, but if it makes things go along smoother maybe I will pick one up.

I figure better safe than sorry, So I load the first round ,then use the loader to finish. It makes the last load easy on the extended mags

Loading the 1st round by hand, one is scraping the 1st round across the entire length of the follower...
Loading the 1st round with the UpLula, one is only pressing straight down on the follower at one point and litterally dropping the round into the mag. Seems like loading the 1st round by hand would cause more scraping/gouging damage to the follower, but... [Shrug]
Using the Single-Stack adapter with the Shield may not work, as it's not a True Single-Stack (nor is it a True Double-Stack). It's slightly wider than a Single-Stack... an 'Offset' (staggered) Stack magazine. Take a good look through the mag's Witness Holes and you'll see the 'stagger'.
I've used an UpLula for years on everything from a .380 to .45, both Single-Stack and Double-Stack... Before the Adapter came out.
