Buying A New S&W M&P 15-22 This Week

Made the decision to buy a new S&W M&P 15-22 this week. Was going to order one from Buds using my Leo/Security discount but my favorite shop said they would match it. Being in CT of course it cannot have the evil features just like my Sig 522. I was going to get one before but the lack of 22LR had me hold off. Now I see that places like Midway & Cabelas are stocking some so I figure, why not.

Congrats on buying one. It's an evil rifle tho, just because it's not a fighting rifle so you can find almost any justification to put parts on or in it. You know, because "I might want to try this later".

Liked the one I bought last month so much I bought another one today to keep it company.

I picked one up last night. I have already put 100 rounds through it. lol

Learned that I DO NOT like the after market 35 round mags. I much prefer the S&W 25 round mags.

I have yet to find any aftermarket magazine that I like more than the OEM magazine. This holds true for all of my own guns, and all of my friends guns that I have actually loaded and fired.

Have a front sling mount on it & a magpul afg should be here by Monday. Already have a Nikon P223 scope & mounts so that should come in handy as well.

Picked mine up this afternoon. Haven't stopped looking at it since I got home. Need a Magpul desert tan vertical fore grip, a forward sling mount, and a red dot sight, and I'm all set.

Just bought my 15-22 yesterday. In probably shouldn't have but couldn't pass up the deal. They were on sale for $329. I can't wait to test it out.

Nice!! I wish I could make it. I've been there but havent shot there yet. I'll definitely go this year. I'm still new to the area. I moved to naugatuck a year ago.
