Jennifer Nettles

Who here likes Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland? I think that she is currently one of the best singers out there. She can sing everything well and with anybody. She has a powerful voice and is not hard on the eyes either. If there is any better, tell me who they are! A close second may be Carrie Underwood.

I haven't much kept up with her since her first Sugerland album (which was good).

She is from the Atlanta area and her first band, the Jennifer Nettles band, played in some small clubs around here.

I was really surprised when I tuned-in in the middle of the Memorial Day concert on PBS. She was fantastic, but I couldn't figure out who it was until they made an announcement. That performance was way better than anything I have head Sugarland do.

It was right up there with Carrie Underwood's National Anthem at the Super Bowl in Dallas.

We have all their albums (Sugarland) She is great not only singing but seems to be a good person. Her voice can cover pretty much any range.

She gave a free concert her a while back and I was so mad I did not get to go!

Emmylou Harris has aged as beautifully as any woman her age I've ever seen, and her talent is enormous.

The album of trios she recorded with Dolly and Linda Ronstadt is a thing of beauty.
