Ok Guys
It's Sat. Afternoon and my Trijicon RMR 6.5 MOA red dot came in by USPS.I got it off of E-Bay from "Lights & Holsters Tactical" out of N.J. Great guys at this store. They sent it out to me free shipping, got it in three days. I installed it on M&P CORE. This is the replacement for the OOO Burris. Will go down to Shoot Straight in Clearwater Fl. and see how this one works. The Burris only lasted 400 rounds :-).

What happened to your Burris? FastFire II or III?

I have not seen anything bad on the Burris yet and I just bought one.

Curious what happened.

I did not post this to put a bad rap on Burris. I have seen a couple bad reviews on other Red dots. When you buy any sight or gun any brand you don't know what you will end up with. Their are some who are using their Red dot sight and it may be working fine for them. I did not want to wait around six or more weeks for the return of my sight. I have 20 other guns I can shoot but I love the CORE with the red dot :-) .................

Well hopefully mine does okay.

I think in the end I may move up to a DP2 a little bit after they come out and can find a good deal on one them move the FFIII over to my AR15 scope mount for CQB type of shooting.

bummer to hear about you bad experience with the FF ... I have read many good ones and a few not so good ones ... guess they are hit and miss I suppose.

I will be sure to report back with my findings after I put a few hundred through mine as well.

Got to the range today at 11:00am. I got in before the mob. I put 150 rounds thru the M&P the Red dot worked great. It was right on target only had to bring it up about 6 ins. Will see when we get to 400 rounds if it will still be working :-)

I have that same RMR and a second one, different model. I've had great luck with both. Trijicon makes good stuff.

I have that same RMR, I've had good luck with it.

Good news today the Burris red dot that went back to Burris for repair will return this coming Thursday by UPS. A fast turn around from them. I hope it's a new one.

I heart my RMR. It's been on my m&p for over a year and I carry it daily. Red dot holds zero no matter what. I think Trijicon leads the way in this field. Only problem is you need a second mortgage on the house to afford these goodies.

good luck with RMR 07...I am on my second RMR 07 in 6 months onn my M&P core series 4.25 9mm. I called Trijicon on Friday to get an RMA to return this second one....mine flickers, dims and will sometimes turn off when shooting. I have 3 RMRs and I cant get one to stay alive on my MP core....disapointing.

25K rounds, still on the original battery and haven't had to reset the zero since I installed it. :D

I hope my FastFire III does well but I have a feeling I'm gonna bite on that DeltaPoint II a bit after it comes out if I can find a deal (then throw the FFIII on my AR15's scope pic mount maybe).

Seems DP is a SOLID optic for s handgun and I hope the II is just as good but better and priced right on sale somewhere!

Great information guys, thanks for sharing. I have a Pro and am wondering if the red dots work out using the rear sight mount. Also can I have a Smith machine the slide to accept the standard Deltapoint mount? Worth it?

I just ordered the RMR rm07 from GrabAGun, $517. I was going to order from Amazon, but there price went up to $601. I hope I made a good choice. The recent comments on this thread makes me have doubts...

If you have the option to get the slide milled, that would be my choice, but then again I have a Core so I didn't have to make that choice. They might have to mill off the rear sight dovetail to get the sight to fit behind the ejection port. That's why the Core sight dovetail is farther back. I think relying on a mount that fits into a standard dovetail is sketchy, that's a lot of weight being slammed back and forth held on by a little contact point. JMO

Hello Guys
Today Thursday the Burris Red Dot that was out for repair has returned by UPS. Opening the package and I find a brand new Red Dot sent by them. Fast service from them, less than three weeks. I did not send them the rail mount so I installed it on the new one. Will see what to do with this one now that I have the RMR on the CORE. I can install it on my AR15 or sell it.

I'm looking at picking a CORE up, my biggest question would be has anyone had issues with the taller iron sight (namely the front sight) getting snagged on the inside of certain holsters? I was planning on using Bravo Concealments Patriot holster.
