OP
Good looking bike, ladder, I'm in the market for one. I used to ride all the time up until about 6 years ago. I had a Schwinn LeTour that I bought back in 1978 that burned up in a fire in my garage. Went through about 6 sets of tires on that one...I loved that bike.
I had driven by this local bikeshop for many years and always said "I need to go in there and see what they have".
Almost made the mistake of buying a bike from Costco a few times, not that there's anything wrong with buying from Costco, but the local shop gave me a real education on all aspects of riding and the pro's and con's of all his bikes.
Turns out, their price was very competetive with anything I could buy anywhere else, including online, and the owner reduced the price $50(when I went to pick it up) from our original deal after he got a better price from his distributor. He could have kept the money, I would still have been happy and none the wiser.
He made a customer for life, I'll be buying all my accessories from him, and advise anyone else to go to his shop.
I try to buy local when/if I can.
