Are you on low T medications?

If not...ah, then, something to feel good about.

My father has been an inspiration to me for many years, he's 80 y.o. and has lived by this axiom for a long, long time. "The man that lives with one foot in yesterday and one foot in tomorrow is ****ing on today!"

I agree and it has made my life joyous!

With all that's going on in the world, I've really been in the dumper this week. :(

It's sad that I am 38 and all I can seem to think about is buying more guns and more ammo for coming collapse. Between race riots, ISIS, illegal immigration, our own gov't, and the list goes on and on, I just don't see a light at the end of the tunnel.

What to do.

Sorry for the vent...

I'm south of you a bit - outside Cedar Rapids..come on down for a week and we will just shoot up the south 40 and relax. You will feel more better!!

It will get better - in a little over two years!!!

Take some comfort in the knowledge that things go in cycles. A study of history will confirm this. Take a longer view of things, strengthen your resolve, and apply what energy you can to making things better. Participate in the solution because despite all the appearances of doom and gloom, our Republic is still, the best the world has ever seen.

You might try some form of volunteer work. You might get, yourself a good girl friend if you don't have one. Look into your city are county law enforcement department. They might have a reserve program. Get a good taste of that and you'll be out of the house. I've missed it ever since I had to leave because of the back problems. Even the fire department. If your not going to church on. Sunday try going a few and see if you feel better.

Think how bad it was 100 yrs ago, with World War on the horizon, or during the depression. These times are cupcake. Turn off the TV, or put it on something happy.

Can't speak about a HUNDRED years ago, but in 1929 our National Debt was 17 BILLION...

now it's 17 TRILLION.

Yeah, just think happy thoughts. It'll all go away.

World is lookin on the brink of war again...

But it's all good! Smile!

I do agree to try to not let it get you down as best as you can though.

But it seems a lot of people have their heads in the sand.

Heads in the sand? I think their heads may be up somewhere else!

The world is a better place since we stopped watching the network news. We stay well-informed through other sources, and ignore the agenda-driven garbage that they call news these days. I've also found that a brisk walk or jog around the block can raise my spirits when I'm having a bad day.

Suck it up. I grew up watching Vietnam, OPEC, gas lines, Iran hostage crisis, frigging Nixon, inflation, Carter in a sweater, Challenger. Its just news. How much, other than the economy actually affects your life?
People have been thinking the sky was falling since we first evolved.
