first revolver---J Frame

I wipe my 442 or M38 down daily w/a silicone cloth in the summer even though pocket carried.

Thanks everyone for all the compliments and comments and cautions.

Congrats. My 442 got me back into revolvers after a several year hiatus and I'm hooked.

It's carried every day, usually as a backup, so it does pick up some lint.

It doesn't seem to bother it any.

I've been considering a small steel framed revolver for waist band carry, and a .357 J frame looks mighty enticing and would make a great stable mate.

I carry the similar 642

My big paws could not hang onto the tiny factory grips

I tried the HOGUE TAMER and I really like them a lot

Congrats Louchia! Nice! Have fun shooting.

J frames are great, everyone should own at least one. Congrats on your first (and the ability to CC in IL)
So happy you said at least one! :D
I've got such a bad J-frame habit.
Now I have,
ummmmm,
let see,
one finger, two fingers, three fingers...
OK, I don't think I have to get my toes involved here...
Oh darn. I have to go to the safe to count. Be right back!
Five. I have five.
Wow. That doesn't seem like a lot now that I think about it.
I guess I have to find some more. Or have them find me!

If another J frame finds you; I'm sure you'll get that warm fuzzy feeling again!

A J frame Smith & Wesson is one of the most usefull handguns on the Planet.

YOU'RE GONNA LOVE THAT LITTLE BEAUTY ! Just wait till you get your hands on a J frame with a 3" inch barrel. You'll be hooked for sure.....
Best of luck with your new gun.....

Kinda' like this?
