still pinching myself...... yep awake.. and happy

That was the one I was looking for.
Great find.
Glad you fixed it so easily.

My luck has been good also.
I saved $800+ on an armslist deal by being cautious.

It was a scam.

Monday on my way to work I stopped at a little Mom and Pop resale shop here in town, they do mostly estate sales, cleanout's, exc..

Sometimes they have gun's that they pick up for sale.. but they are not "gun people".. Mostly junk stuff, single shot shotguns, BB gun's and sometimes something good...

This was a something good... went in spotted a S&W in the case marked as a model 19... Stuck cylinder, for parts only..

BUT......

IT ain't no 19....

A 27-2 with a 3-1/2 barrel and check out the price.. Ended up being $165.00 out the door..
the "stuck cylinder" was fixed as soon as I got home by tighten the ejector rod..
and yes I also bought a lottery ticket too.....

That's beautiful! And if I were you I'd stop by there at least once a week!

Life is like a box of chocolates you never know what you will find.

Now if I were you, since you have your foot in the door with them I'd go back and give them another $100. To say thank you. Then give them your phone number incase they get anymore like this one. The $100 Bill is an investment into future dealings with them. Trust me it will come back ten fold.

I passed by a local gun shop in a small town for 20years twice a day and never stopped in. One day I finally stopped. I just missed the dad passing away and his collection of older henry rifles were sold off. Then left in the rack was a '95 Chilean 7mm mauser and a professionally built sportswriters Russian m59 mosin. My point is don't drive past any mom and pop gun shops.

WOW, you gotta be kiddin me!!!!!! :)

Awesome Score!!!

#1. If I were you I'd go buy a Lottery Ticket right now!

#2. I'll give you double what you paid for it right now.

You owe me a key board and a Mountain Dew. :D

Congrats!
That is a very good deal, but I'm sure you know that! ;)

Another good place to check are the Tacticool shops...I picked up a PC 3rd gen S&W pistol for less than half of what it would go for normally at one.

The jumping up and down along with screaming for joy all the way to your vehicle might have given them a clue that a mistake had been made. Or not... The sad thing is, there are two "not gun people" who ended up with the dark end of the stick. The poor misguided individual who they bought the gun from really got hosed.

Congratulations,
