I know this wouldn't be everyone's grail gun but it is for me. I picked up this gem for $450. It has a little wear at the end of the barrel. I'm happy as a pig in mud.:)

You found a great revolver at a very good price.

You must live right: probably why don't I find those deals.

Thanks. I couldn't believe the price based on sales on the Internet sites. I'm thankful he honored me being first to say I'd take it. He told me he had tons of offers and many that offered more.

I have one of the same in very good condition. Had I found that one, at that price? I would own two. Nice gun, very nice price. Congratulations

Congratulations; how did you find it?

Well done, but I think I can now learn to hate you. That IS one fine revolver and at a great price, yes, I am maybe just a bit jealous. You will need to be careful as owning and shooting a snubby can be an addiction. I care about you and so you won't become one of those crazy snubby people I will store and shoot that revolver for you... Hey I am here for you, if you need someone to store that for you.,,???

Too late, I'm deep into the snubby addiction.:D

I am struggling to find and purchase that model. The online sites I visit have asking prices above $750, and sometimes selling prices over $850. Is this the new normal, and is my only recourse to shell out this kind of money if I want one? I can't find them locally at all; folks are hanging on to them.

duck32man, the 2 1/2" M-19/66's are just the end all be all, of discrete personal carry and defense revolvers. And you sir got yours at a great price:). Enjoy that guy.
