What powder(s) are you still looking for?

I'm sitting in decent shape for powder, but would like to see some 2400 show up locally so I can try it again after 30 years.

Not looking anymore..... I had been looking for W296 or H110 for a couple of months. I found some at a gun show a few weeks ago but the dealer wanted $32.99 per pound. This last weekend, we drove to another show and the same guy was there. I walked around a little and found another dealer with H110 for $26, so I picked it up. The guy next to me was eyeing the same can and when I picked it up, he turned and walked away with a dejected look on his face. Later, my wife reminded me that I spent an extra $20 for the two of us to get into the show to save $7. Couldn't argue with her other than to tell her, "It's not about the money, it's about the principle!"

I'm sitting pretty good, but I sure would like to get another 8 lb. jug of Bullseye without having to drive 6 hours round trip. I'm thinking another 4 or 8 lb. jug of Red Dot too, maybe. Red Dot was a life saver when no other powder was around to be had, so I think I'll keep it on hand-just in case.

For those looking for 231/HP38, those seem to be popping up here lately. Last gun show I went to, there was a decent amount of pistol powders on tables-a little over priced, but there!

Universal. Along with plated bullets It keeps my .357 clean and shiny and shooting straight. I'm down to about a pound and a half and getting nervous.

I'd like to try out Autocomp, or CFE Pistol.

Forgot about CFE Pistol. Add that one to my list as well.

I have tried it in 9mm and 45 ACP. I was really impressed with it in 9mm, so I would like some more please.

I'm having trouble finding Trail Boss as well.

I guess I'll call myself fortunate then. My LGS gets powder in on a frequent basis. Just a few weeks ago I picked up another case of TB.

2.9gr in a 38mid with a 160gn SNS coated RN out of my 5" 627, shoots like a 22.

Keep an eye on Gunbot.com and Recobs shooting supply. CFE pistol and Autocomp is what I use exclusively. I haven't had any problems building up my stock. I still see it but don't buy any at the moment. I draw the line at 50# of powder and won't start looking for any more until that drops down to about 25#. Recobs had 231 last week in 1,4,&8# sizes. With the limits it was possible for a shooting friend of mine to order 1-8#, 1-4#, and 5-1# for a total of 17#. 231 used to be my "go to" powder but when I started using Autocomp and CFE because of the shortages of 231, I lost interest in that powder. (in fact I sold what I had).
