What is Your Favorite Dessert ?

PIE!!!

It really doesn't matter what kind, but I prefer the fruit pies to the cream pies. Peach, apple, cherry, strawberry, blackberry, rhubarb, blueberry...you name it and I'll be first in line with a grin on my face and drool on my chin.

When it's hot with a big dollop of vanilla ice cream...well, that's pretty darned hard to beat in my book.

Hmmmm....now you've got me thinkin'. I guess I'll go try to butter up the misses to see if I can talk her into making a pie for dessert tonight.:)

Peach pie or cobbler (with fresh freestone peaches) topped with good vanilla ice cream; mince pie; or my own lime chess pie.

But then I also make a quadruple-chocolate cake that is illegal in nineteen states due to addiction risk. It has to be carried to the table with a fork lift.

Caj, you were right. This question is a monster.

Black Raspberry Pie!!!!! I have my own black raspberry patch out in back, and get enough to take care of my pie cravings all year long. Pick Em, Freeze Em, Make em into pies, EAT!! YUM!!

Good old fashioned Homemade Pecan Pie, not the cracker barrel stuff or the store bought stuff...old fashioned , lots of pecans and made right, homemeade pecan pie and vanilla ice cream.

And the only thing better than pecan pie for dessert is pecan pie about 9:00 in the morning washed down with a cup of good coffee. One of life's better moments.

mom's peach pie...made with peaches from our back yard and...

Dressel's whipped cream cake...........a pleasure of the past

Lemon meringue pie made by my deceased friend's wife we ate at deer hunting camp every year. Fortunately her son still comes and brings one.

Peak53, you do know how to live! Were you from the south at some time?

mrs mstems homemade pecan pie closely followed by my daughters homemade fresh coconut white cake!

Bread Pudding with whiskey sauce at the Bon Ton cafe in N.O. in the 80's. Don't know if the Bon Ton is still there?
Have had other places add whiskey to the sauce over bread pudding, but wasn't anywhere near as good, but the whiskey did improve it. No good bread pudding in Iowa found yet.
Lemon meringue pie is good, chocolate meringue pie is good!
DESSERT is good!!!

NY cheesecake, usually just plain though a local deli gets a chocolate chip version flown in from a bakery back east and it's amazing. Add a cup of great coffee (NOT decaf) and I'm a happy chappy.

Life is short, eat dessert first. (and next and last) Had angel food cake for breakfast today.

Favorite, anything but pumpkin .
All time favorite would probably be my homemade strawberry shortcake
