Novak Barrel for 3rd Gen guns

I was looking up Novak sights when I came across the custom section of the website. They offer to fit a match grade barrel to the 3rd gen autos. Wondering if anyone on here has had the work done? Any feed back would be nice. I have an older 4506 that I may consider shipping to Novak for a new barrel. Just looking for input. Thanks

I don't think they offer a match barrel, just the fitting of a customer supplied barrel.

I just took a peek.. it says "supply and fit match barrel" $295.. but it also says "Match barrels require a Reliability package", which is another $125... that would bring the total to $420, plus shipping which will add at least another $100.

Sounds too steep for me.

Barsto used to make barrels for the 3rd Gens. Novak would sell you one and fit it. Not sure if they still have any on stock. Barsto stopped making 3rd Gen barrels some years ago already.

Call them or email them, I have seen that information on their website as well. But If I recall correctly from previous correspondence, they only do sights for the 3rd Gens.

I talked to them a couple of months ago and they told me they were no longer doing work on 3rd Gens. It's still worth calling them I think and talking to Novak himself. You might get a different answer.
