Nowhere at the moment. The recent 5.56 Green Tip ammo ban scare caused a panic, which caused a run on all .223 & 5.56 ammo. Supply got low. Prices went high. It might stabilize in a few months.

I buy from Target Sports USA, Widener's, AIM Surplus.

If you're not a reloader and your range allows it, Russian steel case bi-metal jacketed ammo is affordable.

If you think you might reload or you don't want steel case bi-metal jacket, Wolf Gold .223 is good stuff.

You really need to look around. freedom munitions has some pretty good prices but like everyone else is having problems keeping ammo in stock. Ever since the BATFE proposal, people have been cleaning the shelves.

I've seen pretty good prices and selection at SGAmmo. Also, you might try Ammunition Depot. Maybe Target Sports USA. Prices and availability aren't back to what they were before the ban scare, but getting better daily.

use GunBot or AmmoSeek to find the best prices on bulk ammo.
i got 1000 rds. of Wolf .223 for $225, from SGAmmo.
i've also have bought from Freedom if i want brass rounds.

How is the wolf ammo. Is it true that the Russian ammo doesn't work as well?

Works fine for me. There's a lot of theories as to why or how it doesn't work. Not can be proven or disproven. Try it. It will either work or not. I don't have a problem with them in any gun and have been using it for 95% of my range shooting for the last decade, in all sorts of guns.....from Glocks to 1911s, to Lugers, S&W, AR, ....etc...etc.. In all that time I've had only 2 or 3 problems. One problem is that Sig P220 mags wont hold more than 4 rounds. Can't push anymore in. Not a deal braker for me

ammosupplywarehouse has Armscor .223 55gr for $349.99 1000 rds.
I've run 450 rds of this through my M&P Sport with no problems whatsoever. Shoots good groups too. Don't know what their shipping cost is as I've never bought from them. Purchased mine through Bulkammo a few months back for $329 including shipping.
Here's the link.
Products listed in 223/5.56 RIFLE AMMUNITION

Anyone know about tulammo it's super cheap but idk if I would trust it

Although I have a few rounds of XM855 and Ranger on hand, I now only buy American Eagle XM193. I believe this listing works out to .33 per round. I have seen it as low here as 26.99 per box of 90, and it is on stripper clips.

Federal 5.56 55gr FMJ-BT 90rds on Stripper Clips XM193AF90

I keep an M&P 15T mostly for the range. I prefer .300 Blackout if the stuff ever hits the fan. It's a far better round, and not NEAR as loud as 5.56. I have an Advanced Armament MPW in 3B, with a URX II rail. M&P 15T has the same rail covers, looks almost the same, and feels the same except for the trigger. Eventually I will upgrade to the same Geissele trigger in the M&P.

Took 'em almost ten days to get my order.:p

You young guys have no idea what it was like in pre-computer days. It was considered speedy if you got your order in less than a month after you sent it in via snail mail.

Cut them a break. At least they have ammunition at a good price.
