What distance

"what distance can you get out of the 15-22" I wouldn't throw it, you could damage the polymer, like a certain critter basher did.

"The .22 LR is effective to 150 yd, After 150 yd, the ballistics of the round are such that it will be difficult to compensate for the large "drop". " However that would depend purely on the shooter and the rifle.
This is possible though https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMun6pVDBzs.

The 15-22? 22lr it says dangerous to within 1 mile.

Right. The optic and mount dictate aiming ability.

My Savage FV-SR has a 40MOA base and the scope has over 100moa of adjustment. I regularly shoot at 300yds and can reach out to 400yds using the mildot reticle for holdover with standard velocity ammo. It can reach out further with HV ammo.

those savages are the bomb! my 10FP-SR in .308 with the accutrigger and a Nightforce 4x16 with FFP is unbeatable in my book! Nice rifle!

I get more than acceptable accuracy with the 15-22 out to 50 yards. At 100 the accuracy loosens up, but you can get rounds on paper no problem with some adjustments. It's not really meant for any farther than that in MHO.

Aim higher. ;)

Exactly. At that yardage, you'll see definitely see how a certain type of ammo shoots and need to make adjustments either to the point of aim or to your sights.

If you're hitting a little to the left at 50 it'll be a lot to the left at 100.

I routinely blast 20" gongs off hand, full retard using Primary Arms red dot zeroed at 15 yards. I have also cleared 8" plate racks at 100 yards from a rest, on the clock. Decent scope, 150 yards should be no brainer before you lose too much velocity.

It is all about the ammo, optics and the rifle ...........
on how far you can shoot.

My old gunny told me....
"If you can't see it, you can't hit it"......
but a good round and weapon helps.

I've shot mine at 200 meters & hit my target. There's quit a bit of drop off pass 100 & had to make adjustments & aim high
